NBA sabotage.....food poisoning

Postby COOLmac© on Wed Mar 09, 2005 12:28 pm

well hey i was talking with friends/boss(and yes a couple of LAWYERS ) at the cofee shop hours ago on how food sabotage has been rampant in the playoffs. i remember all to well when Jordan got the case of "sudden urge for the crapper" during the finals against the Jazz not so long ago. and what about Kobe when the lakers were in detroit. he and shaq ate at this restaurant and those die hard pistons chef must have done something wierd with the sauce or something. it happened to my team once in college.
any views about this guys?

throughout history, poison was used quite often to assassin many political figures :o

but as far as food poisoning- working in the culinary industry- it can happen to anyone, especially in food establishments that don't keep up to sanitation standards or just simply the individual(s) handling the person's order wasn't sanitary him or herself

though i could see this happening in the PI, i just think it was dumb luck it happened to bryant in detroit. food establishments are at high risk of lawsuit and potential loss of many customers if news were to surface of a person, a celebrity no less, having a loss suit against that business

where in the world was that? i thought when you were a political figure you have food testers?

anyways Gordon (your airness..hehehe) you got a point there.but players seem not to mind many "minor" incidents of having LBM after eating foods at a hostile nba counterpart state. they just move on. in my honest opinion these things really do happen

I remember that. It was months back. He was trying to beat whoever the leader was in the election, and someone poisoned his food and his face was bloated and ugly blah blah blah. They thought he was dying but later turned out to be food poison.
