when nets lost to toronto they were without krstic and buford.. you might say so what but take 2 key role players away from a team that has highly questionable depth and it's gonna hurt.. plus rose was on a tear... i mean 12-15.. ouch!

with buford and krstic back I'd definately put money down on nj beating toronto

plus kidd is quitely having a very tidy season and is one player of a very short list of players that is a legitimate triple double threat in every game

Nets beat Sixers.. only 1.5 games back now I think. They could possibly take the division... Damn Vince.

I thought RJ was out for the rest of the season?

Either way, I picked the Nets because they have Jkidd and VC along with a solid veteran in Cliff Robinson. Raptors are a depleted team with a coach that acts crazy at times and most of the people there don't even want to play there.

I knw that Raptors wont make the playoffs and no one should expect them to make the playoffs. Raps are a building team with a rising star.

Well, Paris is closer from New York than Los Angeles. So travels and timezone aren't that much of a problem, except for a Paris-LA of course :P And Paris is a great city that certainly would draw a lot of free agents, isn't it? (at least more than Milwaukee :P:P)

the free agent thing has nothing to do with the city, well it does but thats not why i said it. reason i said it is way of life. a player would have to totally change thier way of life and adopt a new lifestyle to join a overseas team. another problem would be tv. the games could not be televised on tv in america(cept for some weekend games in the early am or something) and this would hurt both the team and players. players need to get on tv and be seen to nail those big endorcements.

Hell no I dont want no european team in the NBA...that'd ruin the NBA style of play...it'll get boring

Not only the travel, living in a different country etc they'd have to be paid in an entirely new currency, and aswell as learning a new language and all of those kind of things.

I don't like the idea of global expansion, though I think a few more international tournaments (such as the McDonalds Open that pitted league champions from around the world against one another) would be nice. As good as it is to see the best from around the world compete, I think countries need to have their own national leagues when it comes to professional sports.

I think if the Nets can get anyone on the team to score at least 15-20 points along side Vince, then the Nets may be able to squeeze into the top eight.

However, being the huge Nets fan that I am, I can't say that it is very likely that the Nets will make the playoffs this season.

first of all, just because a team is stationed in europe doenst mean the european team would have all europeans, it would have the same draft, the same trades, it would just be like another team far away.

but no, it would not happen, time change and travel are the two reasons it would never work. it would be really cool tho (Y)
