He's South American -- Argentinan.

I'm agreeing with those whose brought up the idea that maybe these guys just aren't that good -- worse than advertised. I mean c'mon, in the limited time that Darko has seen, he's never been shy to make a fool out of himself. He clearly doesn't belong out there, so why put him out there?

This is the NBA. If you don't have confidence, get confidence! If you want to get better, get better! Stop using your lack of playing time as an excuse for the fact that you just aren't good enough.

^^ That's actually what I was thinking (and it was 4am) but the thing still stands. Those three guys developed their game in Europe and are three of the best in the NBA, yet you say it's best if they just go and rot on the end of the bench for 6 years and hope they finally learn to play the "NBA" way... considering most Europeans dont have the athletisism, they won't succeed playing that way. It makes no sense.

And T.J. Ford injured his neck or something, and it was pretty bad. I read some articles about possible career-ending injury, but I think he's trying to make a comeback, just like Jay Williams.

Shit! He was my favorite player coming into the draft! I hope he's ok...he will be in my prayers

Teams are drafting European players who have good potential e.g. Darko etc. and leaving them on the bench so that they don't develop to their full potential, thus rendering the National teams from Europe weaker in the future, for less competition in the international tournaments.

i'm not sure if you're being serious here but i got a good laugh out of this. i don't think NBA GM's would put their own jobs in jepoardy for that :P
