Hornets trade David Wesley to Houston for.....

I'm pretty sure that it was not the last trade which the rockets have done. I hope and think Taylor, Howard and Weatherspoon are candidates for next trades because they eat so much salary cap but are not giving that effort which they should.

Maybe Houston did it to free up more shots for T-Mac and Yao.

I'd like to see the Rockets pursue Gary Payton before the deadline. He's been doing really well with the Celtics this year, after the tumultuous season with Los Angeles. I think that this could be the point guard that Tracy McGrady and Yao Ming have needed their whole careers. Even with the addition of Wesley, who is more of a combo-guard, they're still weak at the point, and the addition of Gary Payton would be an upgrade from anything they have now.

I think the Rockets have enough guards right now that are able to lead the team well but they haven't done anything yet for their main problem and that is still the 4. Nene, Chandler, Marshall might be players that could help.

The Rockets got impatient with the struggling (of late) Jimmy Jackson and acquired David Wesley who can play point and once upon a time had very good defense (that has dropped off of late). Boki Nachbar was going to leave at the end of the season and at least the Rockets are getting something back for him. I would also take JJ over Wesley any day of the week, but I can see what the Rockets are doing here.

Nene, Chandler, Marshall might be players that could help.

The Rockets do not have what it takes to acquire any of the 3. On top of that, they do not need the inconsistent and at times lazy Nene and Chandler.
