I've been so disappointed in Bridges this season on both sides of the ball, I have zero confidence in his 3 point shot so far and I know we are missing key players off the bench but Thibs only playing 7 guys in the rotation is killing us in the 4th quarter and ultimately down the stretch injuries are gonna happen from players being burnt out.

Now Towns is out because of his knee...Sims starting...
Hukporti with 3 blocks in his first minutes of the game...yet the Knicks couch plays with a 7-8 men rotation...just use 10 and give EVERY player some minutes on the bench. Otherwise many starter minutes will lead to fatigue and injuries.

What's with the fancy rhymes of the co commentary? Is it Walt Frazier? Is this his special style or rapper style or why does he use rhymes all the time? Wheelin' and dealin', shakin' and bakin', huffin' and puffin', moanin' and groanin' etc.?

As a long standing knicks fan il be honest iam not really a fan of Walts commentary and like you said his rhyming everything but I always prefer the msg boardcast wherever possible.

It was a good win last but we shouldn't of been in that close of a game with them or even down 22 points to have to rally back against the Bulls but one thing is clear and that's that we should play at least a 9 man rotation and the Huk should be playing more than Sims.

We need defense. I'd give Hukporti more minutes...and try something to defend the opponents' 3 pointers. We always lose if they make a lot of 3s. I have been a Knicks fan since 1993 because the Knicks were notorious for their defense...it's time to play more defensively again!

Agreed, you would think with OG and Bridges we wouldn't have that issue but the defence has been suspect at times with Brunson,McBride, Kolec and even Bridges is taking time to gel on both sides of the ball.

We really need Precise back probably more than we need Mitchell Robinson but having both of them healthy and even getting Landry Shamert back playing so we can sign him would be a huge lift for us, I like Cam Payne but I think that backcourt off the bench was alot better with "ShamPayne" and then Duece being able to bomb away but it's giving the bench depth, all this being said its pointless having a bench if Thibs isn't going to use it.

I like Thibs as a coach but in his last 15 years of coaching he's not changed his style and rotation one bit and as good as those Bulls teams were iam sure Andrew can back me up here Thibs overplayed Rose, Deng, Noah and Butler to the point there careers ended earlier than expected due to injuries from being burnt out playing 40 mins a night from week one of the season, that's just something I'd love to see him change and use at least 9 players a night

Back to 8 again...and no Hukporti yet...just Sims, Payne and Dadiet. At least Dadiet gets some minutes.

I really can't get my head around why Huk didn't play last night at all, Thibs is a hard coach to work out but I'm glad like you said he did play PD4 over Matt Ryan, no disrespect to Matt but PD is a better overall player at this point than Ryan and just brings more overall so I'm glad he saw minutes, we still really need Mitch back though, and Presicus too!

I'm also looking forward to when Landry is back healthy enough to sign back with the main team and we get that preseason vibe back.

It's early in the long season, and they're still trying to figure each other out We'll know more @ 25 games in. They put it on the Wizards last night. Ball movement was nice.

Four game road trip starting tomorrow in Phoenix, followed by Utah, Denver & Dallas.

Since my post about Bridges he's stepped it up big time, his 3 might not always fall but his mid range game is elite and both him and OG are great at back door cuts in which KAT will pass to that cutter 95% of the time which is great to see.

I hear that Mitchell Robinson has joined the knicks on this road trip so with a bit of luck we will get both him and Precious back real soon

I know the Suns were undermanned, but a win is a win, especially on the road. Knicks still have to tighten up on the perimeter 'D', but the offense was flowing - love the ball movement. The one-two punch of KAT & Brunson is nasty. Knicks will be even better when Mitch, Precious & McBride come back.

Good thing us New Yorkers have the Knicks to take our minds off the lousy football teams.

It's a shootout...if we make more shots or 3s than the other team, we're good...but no single block against Phoenix.

This is true and we need Precious and Mitch back to help with the interior defence but against the Suns most of the points were coming from mid range/3 point shots but your right there wasn't much in the way of rim protection when they drove to the basket.

Fingers crossed we get the 2 above named back soon but also I would love to see Landry back healthy and signed with the knicks

I'd definitely look into Isaiah Stewart. Like the article says, he'll help a lot with the interior "D" despite being undersized. Mitch Robinson is too unreliable.

He definitely is, I want PA back before Mitch, I really don't know why Huk isn't playing more tho and yeah Beef Stew is definitely a NY type of player, dare I say a more capable Quincy Acy

Nice win against Denver...but shooting 60% from the floor means Denver played no defense...and as soon as we don't make our shots and the opponent makes more, we'll lose again.

The huge win let coach play more than 8 players...who got a whopping 2 minutes each! :D

We'll have a better feel of where this team is @ 30 games in.

Nice bounce back win after the no-show in Utah. OG went to work. Knicks could have gone farther in the playoffs last season if he was 100%.

What's going on with Bridges tho, at both ends of the court, his 3 point woes are well documented but he's just letting guys blow past him too now

Anunoby with a career-hight, but then 6/26 over the last two games. Close win though.

This road trip could have been better, but I'll take 3-2. Knicks are still a work in progress. We're not even a quarter into the season yet.

4-16 Pelicans are in town tonight...wow

I really want to see a breakout game for Bridges, just attack the basket and take them mid range jumpers that's been falling. When I see him take that baseline jumper it reminds me of Kurt Thomas back in the day he was always money from there so if that's what's working for you, that and baseline cuts then stick with it for now

31 point lead after 3 against Orlando. How many minutes will Hukporti get? 2? ;)

Don't worry, it'll come. The NBA season is a marathon, with many ups and downs. I'm not worried about Bridges, long as he's cooking in April & May.

Speaking of cooking, Knicks were doing that tonight. How about that ball movement?
