My brother into Rick Rickert and Kris Humphries at the U of M when he was touring last fall. I don't know what Rick was doing there, he left school but Kris was there.

I don't think they said anything though...

I met Felipe Lopez and Malik Sealy for about 2 minutes total.

Wow, I live a pathetic life.

My dad saw him in a cell phone store across the street from where he works, and later in a large whole sale store, Cosco... Battie doesnt seem to live that whole rich and sit on his ass life, he does his own shopping, hell he shops at a discount store...

yeah, i always loved battie. i said it the day they traded him, they traded away the heart of thier team, the energy. he was like a normal guy and believe me, that means alot in boston. being from boston yourself i am sure you understand this.

I once had a card of Askia Jones, who played for the Minnesota Timberwolves in the mid-90's, I managed to met him after a practice and hand the card over to him, and he signed it. Of course he played in Brazil back then, around 1996-1998.

Summer before last KG was over hear in England doing an And1 promotion, i got to see him from a distance but nothing more.

A couple of years ago i met ex nba player Loren Myers who played with the Mavs if anyone remembers him, he played one year for my home town Jets, Also if Pero Cameron every plays in the nba then i can say trained with him too.

Ive also met John Amaechi, we played his old under 19's team (manchester boys) where he came along filming something for the BBC about his "way to the nba" we got to say high, shake hands and that.

I once talked with Beno Udrih ("Good evening!" "'Evening!"). Oh, I and come from the Pete Maravich's European family. It's only a few procents of his blood in my veins, but hell with that :). Call me Pistol Junior.
I know Stephon Marbury very well. Yesterday I played 1 on 1 against him.
After the game, he told me "Hey Ben, you should play summer pro league".
I said "No No No. I don't wanna go to the NBA. Hell no! Might mess up my game."
Why is there always someone who has to do these lame jokes? And also, why don't them in the middle of the thread when someone's already made these jokes in the beginning of the thread?

I've played in the same league as Maciej Lampe in Sweden. Played against him a couple times, but that's it.

Alton Ford. He balls up at the 24 Hour Fitness about 10 minutes from my house from time to time. Only played with him a couple of times, but he was on the other team those times. Never lost to his team though. Last couple of times I've seen him up there he's had a huge brace on one of this legs and hasn't played.

Oh and Clyde Drexler's mother lives a few blocks from me, and he visits her from time to time, though I've never actually seen him there.

EDIT: My sister's friend lived near Vernon Maxwell back when he played for the Rockets and they went by his house to take him cookies or something nice, and he was a total dick to them. One of his kids actually answered the door and he told his kid to say he wasn't there (even though my sister and her friends heard him lol).
