I was looking at their site, and cant seem to get, who will be their starting pg? C.Atkins? Who is the back-up guard? All their PG and late rookie picks?

Lamar Odom can also take the ball up the court, and it's not as if teams haven't been successful in the past with shoot first PG's.

all the lakers need is someone to get the ball over half court. Kobe, Odom and whoever plays point can do that...hec maybe even Divac!!!

Chucky Atkins wil start at the 1 spot, there have been some rumours about a Luke Walton for Marcus Banks and Michael Steward trade, so maybe they will add Banks as a backup with Sasha.

Atkins is good for about 12ppg and 5apg and he's a good 3 point shooter

Atkins/Sasha/Banks would be a pretty decent rotation... although I'm not too sure they should trade Walton, considering the cancer that is Devean George should be gone soon enough and Walton's a decent player/Britney fan to have around.

Bryant before they got payton, used to bring the ball up anyway..
I'm more interested in what kind of system the lakers will play now with rudy t in charge..
I'd like to see Sasha start sometime this season, he has great size for a pg.

I heard Odom and Bryant will take care of most of the ball carrying. However Atkins will probably start until Vujacic develops and takes over.

I also heard a recent rumour about a possible trade with the Chicago Bulls which would include Caron Butler (and another Laker I think( for Kirk Hinrich and Tyson Chandler. I would love to have Hinrich as a Lakers pointguard and Tyson to start at the 4 spot.

The Lakers would sooo rip off the Bulls in any trade having Butler, Chandler and Hinrich as the principles.

not a bad trade but i hate to see butler to go (you have to give good player to get good player). to make it a fair trade lakers must give one good player along with butler, it maybe walton or rush (though i hope its Cook or even Slava). also do you have any link???

yeah, Butler not even a good shooting guard. he's more of a small forward.
