Who do you think will make the HOF out of Kobe, T-mac and AI

One has won 3 rings, one has led the NBA in scoring for two seasons and AI is AI...

ok... if T-mac won three rings with Yao... and Kobe doesnt win a ring again. Both have three rings each... who would you think will go in first?

depends. did mcgrady take home finals MVP atleast 1 of the 3 times? maybe all 3? if all 3 he belongs in there first.

Those are the only players who I feel are locks to be in the Hall of Fame. It doesn't matter though because as I said in another topic, the Hall is a joke nowadays.

Although me and Glove Guy had our arguments over Live and ESPN , I do have to agree with him...this time .

I can't think of any players off the top of my head right now that aren't on Glove Guy's list. First I was wondering why T-Mac wan't on there but I just realised he has no rings, no MVP award and really no major accomplishments besides leading the league in scoring.

I'm too lazy to look through NBA.com right now and see if there are any other deserving players but I'm sure he got them all.

What about Pippen? He is still playing.

Dikembe Mutombo is not a maybe, 4 time defensive player of year, that's has to be equal to 2 or 3 mvp awards.

kobe and AI can retire right now and they will be in the hall of fame, RIGHT NOW

kobe is self-explanatory

and ai, has done things at his size that one one else has done before, thats why he can quit right now, and be a hall of famer

It should be noted that Nique's exclusion from the HOF is partly due to the fact he's only just approaching eligibility. He retired in 1999, so he's only going to be coming up for nomination in the next couple of years (next year, if I'm not mistaken).

Bernard King is a definite oversight. He's been retired since 1993, so he's been eligible for a few years. He remains very underrated, though to nitpick I believe he only led the league in scoring once. But that's irrelevant, it certainly doesn't take away from the fact that he's Hall-worthy.

In regards to Hill - if he can return and be a valuable contributor on a championship team or too, he might be worthy of the Hall. Consider Bill Walton as a precedent. His career was marred by various injury ridden campaigns and he sat out at least one full season. The 1977 title and the Finals MVP do set him apart, but then again, has the 2004 title and the Finals MVP really launched Billups into the league's elite?

Of the players you mentioned, Hill is the one that comes closest to be enshrined, but it would be a very controversial induction.

i gotta agree with glove guy. the HoF is a joke now. dont they have to let a certain amount of players in every year? some guys dont really belong there. also like others were saying, its not just a nba hall of fame, its a basketball hall of fame. thats why you see college coaches and woman players getting inducted to it. seeing as that is the case i dont see why a foreign player could not make it if he truely earned it. i think for a international player to get in without playing in the nba he would have to have been amazing in the olympics. i think just being great overseas is not enough since for awhile they were clearly behind us and imo still are skill wise.

If T-Mac stays at his current level of play for 5 or more years, he'll easily be HOF worthy.

He`s like 31 then, and i`m about 75 percent sure that he`ll play like 9-10 years. Nope, i don`t think so, not then .

We`ll see in a couple of years who is worthy to the HoF and who`s not.

I don't think McGrady will be over 30 in 5 years?

hes 24-25 right now, so no...he would be approaching his 30's.

I know a lot of my posts are on Carter, but do you thinik he will make it. I'm really to sure myself so can I hear your opinions.

He will if he stops getting injured and leads his team to the playoffs. The most important thing is that he has to stop getting injured.
