It would honestly be better to see them get less free throws and showcase their actual scoring talent instead. From a fan's perspective, free throw shootouts slow down the pace and excitement of a game. And you'd also get less "take that for data" rants as well.
As for Marcus Smart, Dee, I find it funny when he pulls ridiculously obvious flops and doesn't get rewarded for it.

Yeah, even as a fan of the C's, I love it when Smart doesn't get those calls.
Another point to make on this, kids look up to the superstars (Like Harden, Lebron, etc). They are seeing that style of play, they are emulating that style of play, the more that's allowed.. the more kids/young adults want to play like that. I don't want more of that in the league.
I was watching the 96-97 Western Conference Finals game 6 between the Rockets and the Jazz... and wow... what a clean game. You literally could just focus on the basketball aspect of the game, no focus on the refs. I didn't even really think about the refs the whole game. No players were selling fouls, no flailing, etc. For the younger crowd on here, go back and watch some 90's basketball full games on youtube, you will be amazed at how little of that existed. That is what I grew up on, which is another reason why I notice it so much in todays game and just straight up despise it.
Oh, and I also want to list Lou Williams and Manu Ginobili on that list of players really frustrating to watch. Bradley Beal makes the list just because of this C's series against the Wizards. Ha.

As long as the game is being called that way, I guess we grudgingly have to give some credit for the intelligence and intuition of being able to draw fouls. It does cheapen the sport somewhat, to say the least. I think the league needs to make a better effort to curb flopping and flailing at both ends, as their previous attempts have felt a bit half-hearted and inconsistent.

yeah we can be friends

realistically, mine would be Parish, McHale, Bird, Ainge, Rondo lol
but basically a lot of players that beat the Lakers back in the day so a lot of Celtics, Pistons, and Bulls

I'm going to have to revise my Least Favourite picks. With some of the players I've been reminded of, I think I can definitely expand it out to three teams.

I'm surprised Laimbeer wasn't more prominent on the hated lists, so I definitely had to give him a mention. Some of my favourite videos on YouTube are the ones where players retaliate to his dirty plays

in the words of the great NovU they are all "kids" so they probably have never actually watched him play

I don't know bout you lot but I love watching Laimbeer. He's just as entertaining and a prick as Tommy DeVito.
