Last September, he pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor count of possession of alcohol by a minor for a 2002 incident and was fined $1 and sentenced to 60 days probation.

lol a $1

LMAO $1.00! that has to be an error or something. I mean I never seen someone go to court to be fined $1.00. I wouldn't even waste my time going to court, I would just pay them the $1.00 and get it over with. That's just like asking someone at school can they borrow a $1 and you have to pay them back

LOL this guy is a millionare and he gets fined 1$.... justice these days..

Mon Aug 23, 2004 5:38 am

Eh? Are you implying that because Randolph is a millionaire, he should be fined at a higher price? That's justice to you? Seems like hypocrisy to me. Everyone should be treated as equals, right?

You scoff at the way law works because they are being fair? You scoff because you feel they should have fined him more because he earns more? Tch tch... :scold:

Randolph witnessing a shooting doesn't really make this situation his "crime". Pretty awkward that mostly Portland players are always jinxed in some conspiracy.

But the $1 part is hilarious though.

He shouldn't have that much money in the first place...

Mon Aug 23, 2004 7:48 am

Alas that's not for you to decide.

Mon Aug 23, 2004 8:46 am

What crime did Randolph commit? Being a witness to a crime? If that's a crime it shouldn't be too hard getting people I dislike in jail.

He witnessed the shooting of 3 people and was questioned by police. He didn't get in trouble. He cooperated with police too...

I'm pretty sure it was indeed $1. It's certainly a strange amount of money to fine someone for breaking a law. One would expect that most misdemeanours would incur a $25-50 fine, but apparently not.

At least this time the player isn't actually being charged with anything, but those Blazers sure seem to find ways of being associated with trouble...even though the original "Jailblazers" have moved on.
