I'm not sure, but you may have the record for most threads started in one day. STOP IT!
If you have 50,000 questions, put them all in one thread.

gotta be mcgrady and yao. shaq and wade could be one hell of a duo too though.

Geez...what is the fucking point of these useless boring threads? Seriously.....I was nice and I didnt care about it before, but this is getting annoying punk.

I agree with that one.

lmao. now thats funny

Yao + TMac, Shaq + Wade, Cassell + KG.
Sat Aug 21, 2004 5:32 pm
I'm skeptical about the duo of Yao and T-Mac, mainly because it goes against JVG's plan to make Yao the main man on offense. If Van Gundy didn't care for the way Francis and Mobley demanded the ball, the addition of T-Mac doesn't really make much sense.

how about kobe + odom.

. nah, um........i have to agree with fan of all with cassell + kg.

Believe it or not, Vince Carter and Jalen Rose were one of the top scoring duos in the league at the end of the season. They could be about the 5th best duo in the NBA I think this season.

Kobe and Vlade... oh yeah!
Mon Aug 23, 2004 11:51 pm
LMFAO
Kobe can make Vlade dominate
Tue Aug 24, 2004 1:55 am
actually i might say vlade can make kobe even better. he is such a good back door passer, and with kobes slashing skills. damn i exspect to see kobe get many easy dunks from this.
Tue Aug 24, 2004 1:57 am
Shaq's a very good passer too, I don't think the change from Shaq to Vlade will make much difference in that area.

Rasheed Wallace & Ben Wallace. (His answer)
Shaq & Wade, Duncan & Parker (Manu), KG & Casell & Yao & T-Mac.
I want to see Curry & Chandler + Marion & Stoudemire dominate.

i think marion and stoudemire would be able to dominate.. both are still young and they work hard..
curry and chandler the other hand, i think the only thing they'll dominate is the injured list

Perhaps in the future, Marion & Stoudemire are not at the level of those other guys yet. I just threw them in since I think they could be could together, not this up-coming season though. Not as good as the other guys.
Curry & Chandler will make it, or perhaps that's just a big man fan's wishfull thinking.

What is everyone's definition of a duo?
Is a duo two superstars on the same team together? Everyone is mentioning these pairs of players who just happen to play on the same team -- Curry and Chandler, Marion and Stoudamire, T-Mac and Yao, Kobe and whoever, Shaq and Wade....
I strongly disagree with any of these. These aren't duos in my mind. They're just two players who help their team win games because of their individual talent.
A duo should be known as two players who compliment each other, two players who make each other better. Such as Malone and Stockton on the offensive end and Jordan and Pippen on the defensive end.
These pairs that you mention are not duos but merely just two superstars who were placed on the same team.
(This is just my opinion. If your definition of duo differs from mine, then you keep thinking that way.)

aww man- dont u see?
Vlade's ppg is about -15ppg from Shaq
Therefore kobe will in theory get +10ppg at least!

so it makes 31-32ppg this season! hooray!
And Vlade with Kobe should add about 3 or 4 apg more onto his average... therefore 7 apg??? if soi that'd be legendary
And therefore Kobe and Vlade make eachothers stats better!
Kobe: 32ppg, 7rpg,5apg
Vlade: 12ppg, 7rpg,7apg
But i'm just too optimistic!
