Hey- wat if we had an All-40 year old team... who would you pick. Only players who played at the age of 40 in the NBA would be in it...who would you choose?

Malone, MJ and Stock (?) at the 4, 2 and 1... who would play 3 and 5?

Kareem would be the starting centre on that squad. I can't remember a small forward who played until the age of 40, but if you want to add Bob Cousy to the team (he made a brief comeback as a player-head coach for the Cincinnati Royals aged 43) alongside Stockton in the backcourt, you could include MJ as the small forward.

Dennis Rodman (?), AC Green, Robert Parish

I believe Rodman and Green retired before the age of 40 (of course, Rodman would qualify if he ever does make a comeback).

Is scotty Pippen 40 yet??

Mon Aug 02, 2004 10:27 am

09/25/65

He's almost 39

So we would have:

C: Kareem
PF: Malone
SF:
SG: MJ
PG: Stock

Sixth Man: Robert Parish

Yeah- I think there could be somone better at age 40 than Cousy...but then again...these guys are pretty rare!

Would this starting lineup be able to compete at NBA level with all players at age 40?

mutumbos supposedly actually 5 years older than he's listed so he'd be 41 right now i think, kevin willis could play off the bench, i think the only other 40 year olders not mentioned are herb williams, mahorn and james edwards?

You're right about Herb, Mahorn and "Buddha" Edwards. Has that Mutombo rumour ever been confirmed though?
