He made the same mistake with Dennis Rodman back in 1996 in the Eastern Conference Finals. Before the series, he basically said he had no respect for Rodman and that he was a non-factor. Rodman was his usual self on the boards and frustrated Shaq throughout the series. Then again, Dennis Rodman was a master of such tactics - the craziness seemed to cause teams to forget about him because he just wasn't taken seriously.

lol- go Rodman! Will he ever get to play a game nude? Has he ever tried???

Anyway- Shaq said that only Jermaine is his competition amongst 5's AND 4's! Wat a mess... hope Darko proves him wrong! And wait till Ben Wallace comes round! haha

Will Ben Wallace be listed as a 4 now that Shaq is in the East??

And I think Carter/T-mac vs. Shaq/Kobe would have been entertaining- dont you?

Fortunately the closest he's come to stripping during a game is to throw his jersey to the crowd at the end of the game or after being ejected.

I'm guessing Ben Wallace will remain a centre on the All-Star ballot. He'd probably get the starting nod if Shaq is unavailable to play in the All-Star game.

I'd like to see Orlando if it happened like this:

1. Shaq stays.
2. Penny stays and never gets hurt.
3. T-Mac comes, and stays.
4. Grant Hill comes and recovers from the injury back to 100%.

That would be interesting to me. Shaq is a Hall of Fame lock, T-mac will probably go there too, and Penny and Hill would be locks if they had never gotten hurt.

It only works if the players are great at different facets of the game, like the bulls. MJ was the ultimate scorer who could also rebound, set up teamates, play good defense. Pippen could score when needed, but also rebounded, took care of the ball, set up teamates and played good defender. Rodman was just a beast on the boards when he was motivated and played good defense.

shaq, hill, penny and tmac wouldnt work, becuase despite them all being all round players, they need the ball to be effective, unlike pippen and rodman.
