The only part of your prediction that I'd be inclined to disagree with is three point shooting. I believe Kobe would shoot better from downtown. I'd place Kobe at about 35% with MJ at 33%. But that's just my opinion. :)

MIKE: .350 3PT

No, MJ isn't that good a three point shooter, he'd shoot osmething like 31.7%.
Kobe would shoot something like 36.8% from three land.

MJ wasn't a bad 3pt shooter... in 95/96 he shot 42% from three's.. it was somthing he struggled with early, and got the hang of later on.

That was during the time the three point line had been moved in though.

hehe yeah just wait til we hear the conspiracy theories "The NBA moved the line in to bump Jordans 3pt numbers up.."

AI would drop 50 on every team if MJ would be in his prime at 41.

  C'mon, man. The topic is about how Jordan stats would be in this year's league. A Jordan in his prime. PRIME!. Let's say in his 30's.

Just think about the fact that a prime time Jordan penetrated to the basket any time he wanted to in his prime, a time of many talented 7 footers, and other tough guys protecting the lane.

There may be more offensively talented guards around nowdays than say 15 years ago (arguably) but not defensively.

MJ would probably be around the same, maybe slightly more effective with all these really young guys around.

I'd like to think MJ in today's league could average more groupies per game than he did in his prime but even fame ain't the same as it used to be. Young ladies don't have the same attention span they used to :) Still, MJ would easily lead the league in groupies per game. Kobe forces it too much (lol), McGrady looks like he's been bitch slapped, and Lebron's still young and learning all that dick control.

hahah, Kobe can 'penetrate' better than Jordan ever could....forcing it was the name of the game
