There are a lot of players that want to play with Shaq...of the top of my head, Mike James and Bob Sura are some other names. Kukoc, Damon Jones (not sure about Jones).

kobe's numbers will not go up without shaq. If anything, now that he's finally the main defensive priority they'll go down. As seen in detroit if you concentrate on shutting down kobe rather than shutting down shaq you will win and it isnt hard. And the reason they decided not to try and shut down shaq is because one shaq is not the same shaq, and two, even though shaq isnt the same shaq its impossible to stop shaq. If its impossible to stop shaq, shut down kobe because that, whether you like it or not, is very possible. Kobe's numbers will probably revert back to what they were before this year, but at maybe 26-7 ppgs, a lower fg%, same assists, same boards.
anyone with intelligence and class would want to play with shaq (hint hint)

Intelligence: He skipped college.
Class: He's being accused of rape.

i'll play devil's advocate...
assuming the adulterer is playing in the nba next season, why shouldn't his numbers go up? people here are talking about him missing shaq so his numbers will automatically go down but no one knows how the 'shining' will perform in an offense designed around him. given rudy t's history, the 'bryant-angle' will be put into effect and he'll get more then his fair share of opportunities. hey if tmac can put up fantasy numbers on a nbdl talented team, why can't the adulterer do the same ona team with more talent
ha but then again he can have a season like paul pierce did this past year

i didnt say his numbers would go down, i said they'd stay basically the same, but in my opinion the probablity of them going down is higher than some of the other guestimates circling this birds nest.

MIAMI -- Several thousand fans were waiting Tuesday at the Miami Heat's arena when Shaquille O'Neal arrived in the cab of a semi-tractor, pulling a trailer with the words "Diesel Power" on the side.
O'Neal climbed out, used a plastic water cannon to douse fans and walked along a red carpet to the steps leading to the entrance of the AmericanAirlines Arena, where he pledged that another celebration is in the Heat's future.
"Remember this -- I'm going to bring a championship to Miami," O'Neal said. "I promise."
The Heat held the rally to welcome O'Neal six days after acquiring him in a trade that sent three starters to the Los Angeles Lakers.
In a 10-minute ceremony, O'Neal received keys to both the city of Miami and Miami-Dade County from Mayors Manny Diaz and Alex Penelas, respectively.
Penelas, who is more than a foot shorter than the 7-foot-1 O'Neal, stood on a chair so they were eye-to-eye during the presentation.
At a news conference inside the arena that followed, O'Neal said he enjoyed his arrival.
"I told my wife when I was rolling up, I felt like the president," he said. O'Neal then hummed "Hail to the Chief."
After differences with Kobe Bryant and Lakers management led to the trade, O'Neal said he appreciates the way he has been embraced by the city of Miami.
"That has nothing to do with basketball," he said. "That's just because I'm sexy."
O'Neal said he looks forward to helping Heat president Pat Riley recruit free agents to fill the roster spots still open -- those vacated by Miami sending center Brian Grant and forwards Caron Butler and Lamar Odom to the Lakers in exchange for the 11-time NBA All-Star.
Well, here goes Shaq' guarentee folks, after coming out of a cab of a semi-tractor, pulling a trailer with the words "Diesel Power" on the side.
Shaq sure knows how to have fun, but lets see how dominate he will be now.

I was watching his meeting and press conference earlier today on NBA TV...Miami is definitely excited about this...
Hello Playoffs!!!

Aww man, now I want Miami to win so Shaq looks even better.
I think he says these guarantees for a reason. Remember the 1st Lakers championship? "I love ya'll fans, and we gonna get one next year too."
or something like that
