i know i haven't posted in the forum in a long time but i like to sound off on what i like, so what the hell.
the bulls will be and have always been my favorite team (since i war about five years old and my uncle took me to a game during jordan's rookie season).
other favorites are as follows....
east
detroit (felt that way last year too)
orlando (lived there for a year when i was 21)
miami (because of zo and tim, although shaq daddy doesn't hurt either)
new york (basically out of respect for the old bulls rivalry days)
west
kings
mavs (although i didn't like them as much this last year without van exel)
minnesota (always been a KG fan, i was wetting myself back when it looked like he might get traded to chicago)
teams i hate beyond logic or reason
indiana (it's my state but he did his little bow after a three point ending half in the united center at michael jordan and it pissed me off - btw, jordan scored like 50 and the bulls stomped their ass)
milwaukee (i just have always wanted them to come in last every season)
seattle (with or without payton i hated them, but i hated payton and that started it)
utah (i hated karl malone too and my dislike for utah started there, but i liked stockton and their team has no mention of malone so i may stop hating them soon
and the team i hate with more of a passion than any team any where for any reason
the los angeles f***ing lakers
i hate them
i hated kareem
and magic
and baylor
and kobe
and shaq
and fisher
all of em.
when phil started coaching them i thought, well he was chicago's coach so maybe i can stop hating them.
nope. still hated em.
as soon as shaq left l.a. and went to miami i liked him again for the first time in eight years.
i like fisher for the first time right now.
liked horry for the first time since he left houston last year. i kept hope a horry three would seal the lakers dreams this last post season.
i just hate the lakers. i'm glad they are depleated. i'm glad odom is stuck next to the most over-rated player in the history of the nba (kobe "madonna" bryant).
notice NO ONE wants to play with him?
notice as soon as he signed fisher bolted?
just wait, payton will want out next. malone won't be back. betcha fox is all but begging for a trade.
when no one wants to play with you something is wrong.
and jordan comparisons? forget about it. when was the last time anyone ever ran away from a jordan team in chicago?
didn't happen.
and so kobe will be hogging the ball this next season, the lakers will be divided once more, and i, well, i will be in hog heavon just as i was then they lost karreem. just like erving johnson, kobe's gonna lose his "magic" without a big man.
