by the way this is how we play if you dont want to click the url above
9. HOW TO PLAY:
General. Points will be awarded based on how accurately you predict the order that players are selected, regardless of the NBA team that chooses the player. Keep in mind that NBA teams often trade their picks with other teams. (Unfortunately, this often happens during the draft, at which point your selections will already have been locked). It is important to remember that it does not matter which spot a specific NBA team is picking, but rather that you successfully predict the actual order that the players are selected.
How to make your selections. You may enter your selections online by following the instructions in the how to play section of the game.
Scoring. Points are awarded based on the accuracy of the selection. Maximum points are awarded for players selected in the correct order position in which they are drafted. For correct picks in the wrong position, points awarded will get incrementally smaller based upon how close the entrants' selected order position is to the actual order position of the NBA Draft. If a entrant's selection is correct, thirty-two (32) points are awarded. If a entrant's selection is one position away from the actual pick - in either direction - sixteen (16) points are awarded. Two positions away win eight (8) points, etc. This holds true for all selections within your top 13, even if the pick falls outside the top 13. For example, if the player in your 12th position is drafted 16th, you would receive 2 pts. Entrant selections that do not appear within the top 13 are awarded no points. It is important to note that points are awarded based on actual draft position they are selected and not by the team that drafts them.

Points are awarded as follows:
32 pts - correct pick
16 pts - 1 pick off
8 pts - 2 picks off
4 pts - 3 picks off
2 pts - 4 picks off
1 pt - 5 picks off
0 pts - 6+ picks off

Bonus Points. In addition to the points awarded above, bonus points are given if a user correctly selects a player's exact draft position. The number of bonus points awarded will correspond to the number of the actual pick, as follows:

Bonus Points are awarded as follows:
1 pt - Exact selection for 1st pick
2 pts - Exact selection for 2nd pick
3 pts - Exact selection for 3rd pick
4 pts - Exact selection for 4th pick
5 pts - Exact selection for 5th pick
6 pts - Exact selection for 6th pick
7 pts - Exact selection for 7th pick
8 pts - Exact selection for 8th pick
9 pts - Exact selection for 9th pick
10 pts - Exact selection for 10th pick
11 pts - Exact selection for 11th pick
12 pts - Exact selection for 12th pick
13 pts - Exact selection for 13th pick
