...I know this is a bit off-topic...but here i go...

I know that in the Sydney Olympics, Aussie Andrew Gaze was the flagbearer for us....can anyone tell me if any other country has had a basketball player carry their flag? And to ppl who know more about the Chinese Olympic Movement- will Yao carry it for CHina?

Good question (y) but i have no idea lol. perhaps start a petetion, and all yao's army of fans from china could vote for it to happen. hey remember they voted him over shaq in last years all star game :proud:

No way man- more chinese voted for Shaq than Yao and more Americans voted for Yao than Shaq!

yao is so tall they should just paint the flag in his head. It will still stick out above the rest

Also- the athens olympics look to be pretty cr*p this year...the pool will be not roofed...and thats pretty important- but that leads me to think that if their pool isnt done yet what bout their basketball court? Is it not roofed? will we be seeing basketball played outdoors this year?

pretty unprofessional if u ask me!
