Dr. J Sex Tape

Postby Little_Big_Man on Wed Jan 28, 2004 4:10 pm

Did you guys here about this. I've heard that he's getting divorced after 31 years of marriage and his wife released the tape to the media  . Its supposedly of him and a younger female in a hotel room with the radio playing in the background. I've heard from some that it is recent while others said it was from when he was like 38 years old. Either way its just another in line with others like R.Kelly, Paris Hilton, ..... etc. Your thoughts

Are there any "clean cut" athletes left who haven't had their reputations ruined by some scandal? :?

I think if you took any reasonably attractive man and made him a millionaire...famous athlete...tons of women would b throwing themselves at him. In that situation...95% of men would be having sex with lots of them...because it's men's nature to spread their genes as far as possible. What's unnatural is to be with one woman for long periods of time (more than three years or so).

At this point it's time for society to start adjusting to human nature instead of demonizing the endless stream of people who don't fit into those unnatural social constructs. Not to say we should abolish marriage...because it's bad to tell someone you're with only them and then not be...but every man in an athlete's position is going to have multiple girlfriends and we should learn to live with it.

LeBron James :D
Tracy McGrady :D
Carmelo Anthony :D

but ya, now a days it seems every big name athlete is having some problems off the court. Jordan had it with his wife, Kobe is going through it now, Tyson is full of it, and Jason Kidd has been through it which lead to his trade to the Nets. I guess when you are a big man with lots of cash you feel you own the world and can hit a few chicks without getting caught since money talks.

Well, Jason Kidd was a different kind of scandal. But yeah, he did "hit" a chick.

Your point is well taken EG. I'm just surprised to see so many athletes who have always been portrayed as being squeaky clean (which admittedly is an unfair expectation of a human being) having their names dragged through the mud.

Or maybe I've just been conditioned to hold athletes in higher esteem, so I don't think of them as being capable of things society has deemed wrong or immoral.

If I was famous...

Anybody who has any of these tapes or links to them, you'd better rid yourself of this stuff and pm me so we can arrange the clensing session for you.

Thank you and good night.

The media likes to sell us that 'squeaky-clean' image of pro athletes. As kids, we ate that stuff up. But as we get older, we realize these guys are no different than the rest of us. Stories like this don't bother me at all. None of us walk on water.

Dead to right. (Y)

Just like when Kobe decided to screw up over the summer. The media gave him a squeaky clean role model super human-type image and then when he decides to do something different its like 'Oh my gosh, Kobe made a mistake!!! I cant believe it!"

Lmao :D

I remember hearing a while back also that Dr. J had an illegitimate child or something, but I can't remember if it was ever proven. I think her name was Alexandra Stephenson, pro tennis player. I remember her name because A) She was spoken about as Dr. J's daughter, and B) Something about her really annoyed me as I watched her play.

BTW, I know he's not an athlete, but who had a cleaner image than Marv Albert? Here was this lifelong basketball fan who achieved his dream of becomming the top play-by-play man in the business. He had a house in the suburbs, with the wife & kids. Then, BOOM! We find out he's a freak who dresses up in lingerie and sang show tunes with a transvestite described as "Lawrence Taylor in a wig." And he bites women during sex. All that hasn't changed my opinion of Marv. He's still the best sportscaster around. YESSS!

Some good points there Jeffx. The main thing that bothers me about these stories is the motivation behind them. Is it merely reporting the news or is it an attempt to ruin someone's good name? Building them up to seem perfect and superhuman makes it easier to knock them down when they show signs of humanity. Sometimes I wonder whether it's intentionally malicious.
