I think he was/is the most underrated players of all. He was best highscorer in his best year in the NBA. Why is he forgotten? Where is he now and what is he doing?

I agree, he isn't given much attention. Like other stars of the 80s, he finished his career as a seldom used reserve. If you don't go out with a lot of press, you tend to be forgotten. I don't think he's the most underrated player in the history of the league though. Bernard King and Dominique Wilkins are two players that remained underrated despite receiving recognition.

Besides, Xavier became a thug, and they can only show flagrant fouls on highlight shows so many times...

What do you mean Xavie McDaniel became a thug? Do you want to say he became agressive on the court? I saw MJ vs. McDaniel head2head contact.

Why do you all say that Y.Dare was/is the most underrated player. His stats weren't good. Why do you recall him as a god. I understand that he died 2 days ago and i'm sorry about that, but why do you say he was one of the best?

I'd say the most underrated player ever was probably Eddie Johnson. He had so many great playoff games and was a threat throughout his career.

"X" was good player in his prime but there were other players who were better than him and received very little recognition. Rod Strickland also comes to mind.

Long running joke, ever since the late Yinka Dare recorded 1 defensive rebound in 3 minutes of court time his rookie year.

I'd add Ricky Pierce to that list, too.
