The full report

Well, the topic says it all. There seems to be a lot of these deals happening over the last couple of weeks. Then again, who cares?

I think 96/97 was the last season where there was a flurry of deals (including that 9 player Mavericks/Nets trade that was supposed to make New Jersey champions by 2001 and destroy the Mavs for decades to come). It wouldn't surprise me to see another huge deal before the deadline, the way things are going.

Could be. Isiah should be looking to stir things up a bit. Something to get rid of the glut of power forwards. Kurt Thomas should still have some trade value and he's being wasted this year. He'd be a good fit with someone like Washington, but i dont think there's anyone the Knicks would take in exchange.

Something needs to be done about Rasheed Wallace as well. I had an idea (not well thought through, i didnt pay attention to salaries or anything) that he could be dealt back to the Wizards for Jerry Stackhouse. The only problem with it would be the influence that he would have on the Wizards young guys like Kwame and Jarvis Hayes. I remember reading somewhere a few years back that that was why the Timberwolves traded Isaiah Rider, because Kevin Garnett who was enormously talented could have been influenced by Rider's apparent on/off court idiocy.

I'd like to rule out another Bulls' deal, because i think they should let things settle a bit first. Still, anything's possible, the way that they've pulled the trigger near the deadline in recent times.

There will always be the rumours about Eddie Jones and Brian Grant getting dealt but i dont think that's too likely. I also want to see a few players moved out from crappy situations where they arent given time to show off their skills. Players like Jonathan Bender, Qyntel Woods, Courtney Alexander.

Damn, is Tiny Archibald still playing...?

Well, I wonder if he still could impact the team he's goin' to... Same with Robert...

And away he goes again, this time to the Raptors. Does anybody know the record for the most teams that someone has played for during a single season? Cos that's 3 and counting

I believe it's 4 or 5. I know the most teams a player has suited up for during his entire career is 12 (Chucky Brown - though if I remember rightly he played for a couple of teams twice).

I remember seeing something on a Tim Legler (remember him?) basketball card. This was way back when u were still able to get them in Australia.
It was, i think a couple of years before his breakout season in Washington when he won the 3 point contest. There was about 4 teams listed in one year.

I might have to dig up the ole cards again. Just for shits and giggles.
