No it isn't lol. Johnny Flynn doesn't have to pay 6 million dollars out of his own pocket to play for the Timberwolves. I'd like to see how optimistic and happy he would've been if he did.

I realise that. I'm just saying, I think everyone realises that if he doesn't come to the NBA for a couple of years, he'll still only be 20 when he does. But that's not the only thing they're talking about in regards to the situation.

He probably declared because there was always the chance he could get injured or stop developing from playing in a "lesser" (well, comparatively) league if he stayed in Europe.

It is admittedly a good idea as his stock could easily fall after a lousy season or an injury. To me, it's a bit like Hack-a-Shaq. I'm not a huge fan of the idea but I've got to tip my hat to the tactics all the same.
