Even personality wise Johnny Flynn>Ricky Rubio

Great point. (Y)

No it isn't lol. Johnny Flynn doesn't have to pay 6 million dollars out of his own pocket to play for the Timberwolves. I'd like to see how optimistic and happy he would've been if he did.

IMO Rubio ought to sue...6mil for a 100k contract is ridiculous.

I realise that. I'm just saying, I think everyone realises that if he doesn't come to the NBA for a couple of years, he'll still only be 20 when he does. But that's not the only thing they're talking about in regards to the situation.

Yeah, so if he's "only" going to be 20 by the time his contract expires, then why didn't he wait til then to declare if he wasn't certain that he would be getting a top-3 contract? He probably declared because there was always the chance he could get injured or stop developing from playing in a "lesser" (well, comparatively) league if he stayed in Europe.

rubio's a prick. stupid prick at that. in a draft class that is viewed to be very weak- he fell to #5

plain and simple- if it is really about the $$$ then he should have worked out for Memphis and say he wanted to go there and/or the thunder(cats)

It is admittedly a good idea as his stock could easily fall after a lousy season or an injury. To me, it's a bit like Hack-a-Shaq. I'm not a huge fan of the idea but I've got to tip my hat to the tactics all the same.

A team from Spain, Real Madrid, wants to sign him. That team hasn't renewed Raul Lopez, the playmaker from Real Madrid.

Sorry for my English, but I'm spanish.
