Best deal in my opinion is Garnett's, Shaq makes bigger money now, but not as much altogether, KG's is one year shorter than Duncan's and Jermaine's and it's still more!
How much money is 1.2 Billion Dollars?
If it were cut into all the days of all the deals, it would be (25,185 days)
$47,422.59 per day.
It's a BMW everyday.
It should be noted, while I agree that these are large numbers, the money is available and the players do deserve a majority chunk of it, they afterall are the reason the money is made anyway, I wouldn't think since the money is being made, that some big wig and his four buddies or whatever shouldn't get it all, the players get what they can, it's a lot though.
I wonder how these large contracts effect the price of Tickets, Merchandise and NBA League Pass? That is what I would like to know, I am paying for it when I pay $41.00 to sit in the nosebleed seats at Staples.

is like $6.50 for a 12oz. plastic cup at Staples.
