after reading the article it says that the Orlando Magic would have been able to get Michael Olowakandi with that injury exemption
. Man, the magic really would have been an eastern conference contender with him but im happy with juwan howard.

The NBA and its league-appointed doctor owe the fans of Orlando an explanation. Please explain to the people here who fork out thousands of dollars for season tickets how Grant Hill, of all people, doesn't deserve an injury exception.
I agree. You'd think with all the injury problems Hill has suffered and the likelihood he'll be sitting out the 2003/2004 season the Magic would qualify for an injury exception. Perhaps it's because Hill hasn't said he'll definitely sit out next season.
