Spalding balls,will live forever?

It's been a long time since the NBA changed the official game ball.The leather ball is used for i think 30 years,but that streak ended.During the First half of the NBA 06-07 season,the Microfiber ball was the star in the spotlight.But many complained about this ball.Complainants include Steve Nash,Dwyane Wade,Shaquille O'neal,LeBron James and others.Some liked the ball because they said that here Field Goal percentage went up.In January 1,2007,the leather ball was back!Finally players can concentrate on their gameplays.Now,rumor has it that the leather ball might not start at opening night.But still it's a Spalding ball.I think it's just okay to swithch game balls unless it's Spalding.Molten(used in FIBA)may not be seen in NBA games but molten might sneek up!Spalding balls or others?I hope that Spalding will be used until then.How about you....spalding or others?

Before I lock this thread, can you please give me any indication that the NBA will not be using Spalding?

I liked the design of the new ball, maybe they could just use that design on the leather ball. That microfiber was giving the players micro-cuts.
I would suggest the composite leather balls because those work very well, like the indoor-outdoor ones, but after playing with leather balls my opinion is that they are the best.

Gotta love the feel of natural ball skin.

I don't see why the NBA would be inclined to end their partnership with Spalding anytime soon.
