Well, another sports player in trouble with the law. It's starting to be not as suprising anymore.
Anyway, here's the story:

Iverson says it's just a scheme to get his money. Whatever.

it probably is a ploy to get his money. even if iverson punched the guy in the nose i would not doubt that the guy only started with iverson in hopes to get him to punch him so he could sue him.

Well, it didn't work. The jury only gave one of them $260K (drop in the bucket in Iverson's standards) and that's for pain and suffering. AI and his bodyguard wants to appeal.

i would say it did work. it may be a drop in the bucket to iverson but to normal every day people 260k is nothing to laugh at. i would be happy as shit if a nba player punched me in the face, or hell beat the shit outa me. i then ran up only 10k in hospital bills and was awarded 260 grand for it. i dont know about you but thats like 5-6 years worth of work for me all at once lol.

I don't even work yet, so...
They only gave it to one of them, though. The other guy didn't get anything at all. But I guess you're right. I would take a 260K for a punch or get beaten up anyday.
