Big-Z breaks Cavs all time record for...

Tue Dec 12, 2006 6:25 pm

...offensive rebounds. Now he has got 1620+ offensive rebounds in 10 years with the Cavs. Woohoo.

LeBron will break that soon enough

Seing that Lebron averages just over 1 offensive rebound pr game (and his numbers over his last two years is actually lower than his first two) compared to Ilgauskas 3.2 over his career, I doubt that is gonna happen.

how dare you doubt the king?

Wed Dec 13, 2006 3:51 am

Hehe

I wouldn't be disapointed if he proved me wrong - I am a big fan of him myself -
It just seems like peope expect him to excel at EVERYTHING instead of just enjoying what he does.

And even if he DID start to grab some off rebs, I doubt he'll stay in Cleveland for long enough to challenge their existing records.

If he stays on the league for about 20+ years, then it is a good reason he'll break many records :D

Obviously he if he stays in Cleveland for the majority of his career he's going to basically own the record book. Cleveland isn't a team like LA or New York, that has had super star after superstar to set team records.

But on topic, I'm happy for big Z. He's very underappreciated, and I'd like to see him go somewhere like Indiana or the LA Clippers where I feel he'd excel a bit more in the half court system.

Well the thing is, that he might go somewhere else and perform better, but IMO he should end his career in Cleveland, get his jersey retired and on the rooth of the Arena, be remembered.
