1 on 1 matchups

This thread was inspired by this in the Team USA thread thing

LOL LEBRON would kick ANTHONY's butt in a 1 on 1.. Clearly.. I'd rather pick LEBRON over ANTHONY anytime..

Personally I think Carmelo would win, becuase yes as good as LeBron is he's much more suited for a team style of play, whereas Carmelo is the scoring for his team. I know LeBron is the primary scorer for his team too but he also has a great supporting cast.

The point of this thread is for you guys to throw out some contreversial 1 on 1 matchups you'd love to see and for people to give there opinion on them.

I would love to see Tony Parker play against Jason Terry. What are your guys' thoughts on this particular game?

I think that Bron's inability to guard Melo's jumper and Melo's underrated defence will beat Bron 7 out of 10 times.

I see Tony Parker winning in this matchup with his floaters.

Joe Johnson vs Ray Allen would be pretty good, both evenly matched players, similar style of play etc.

Raja Bell v Kobe. That would be interesting... I would watch

artest would win against ben in a 1 on 1 game because ben would have no outlet passes and doesnt have the handles or jumper of artest...although i'd agree, it'd be fun to watch...Personally i would love to see a Dirk vs. Larry Bird in his prime solely because tall white boys who can shoot amuse me to no end....

That would be a great game, power against finesse. It would be really close.
