... so, yeah. Go Raptors!

Probably the best off-season out of any team except the Bulls. Bryan Coangelo in his first year landed high caliber starting talent at the two most difficult positions in the NBA, Center & Point Guard.

I look forward to what this team can put together in the 2nd half of the season once they warm up to each other.

Lol, Bargani is "starting talent" at centre? maybe in 3 or 4 years...

No silly, he was talking about Nesterovic!

What was wrong with the old Raptors thread?

Anyway, I read that Bosh has been working on his threes, much like Garnett has been (as stated in the other thread). I always thought Bosh was capable of knocking down the long ball, I remember one game during his rookie season against Houston he nailed the game winning three...

I agree. I'll bump it up when I have something relevant to say. Please ignore the irrelevancy of this post ;)

I just wanted to start a new fresh thread, instead of having one that is around 13pages already and by the time the first game is played, it will probably be 15-16 pages long.

The Raptors won their first pre-season game against Washington; hopefully a good sign of things to come.

You can read about it on Swirsky's blog on raptors.com

I was over at the RealGM Raptors board and the game thread was CRAZY I tells ya!

125 pages!!

Yeah I was on the RealGM thread too. That's intense for a preseason game that's not even televised. I'm really impressed with the fact that we played a washington team that's been together for a few years, and we managed to beat them. Plus.......
BOSH FOR DA 3!!!!!!!!!

Wow Fred Jones scored the most points, seems like a good pickup. Looks like they used a huge rotation, everyone got basically over 10 minutes of game time.
