what the hell do you think?

Wed Jun 28, 2006 3:47 pm

Yeah, because we all don't know how to load nbadraft.net... :?

Wed Jun 28, 2006 3:51 pm

but this could be a discussion thread. So we don't have to make seperate threads to express our anger at the bad draft picks, etc.

Wed Jun 28, 2006 5:16 pm

Dammit!!! wtf was Colangelo thinking??? what an idiot!!

sorry, just warming up for tomorrow.

on a more serious note, Toronto really can't go wrong with any of the projected top 5 palyers.

Wed Jun 28, 2006 5:20 pm

Really it is up for grabs. Thats what is so great about this year.. we don't know whos going number 1.

Wed Jun 28, 2006 5:37 pm

I agree completely. This year is so intruiging, as the #1 pick is completely unknown unlike most years.

I really doubt Toronto will take Bargnani though. Why would they trade for Rasho with the idea that they're taking a 7 footer? Raptors say they like Bargnani, but actions say more than words. Raptors seem to be setting themselves up to draft Morrison.

Though with every day that passes with Bargnani #1 on all the mock drafts around the net. I really don't know what to think.

Wed Jun 28, 2006 5:41 pm

It would be something if a player like Rajon Rondo went first overall. You never know it could happen.

I doubt it though.

Wed Jun 28, 2006 6:58 pm

What's a Rajon Rondo? But yeah Nick, with the Raps getting Rasho i too thought they preparing to draft morrison, but yeah, as a lot of the mock's have shown over the last week, Bargnani is sitting atop. It's gonna be interesting none the less.

Wed Jun 28, 2006 7:09 pm

Whilst I think the Raptors will select Bargnani, Morrison would make a better pick, at least in the short term....

perhaps the trade was more about getting rid of Williams rather than acquiring Rasho. Raps still need a C so it's not out of question that they take another big guy.

Wed Jun 28, 2006 7:19 pm

Too many hints that Bargnani will be a Raptor.
Like one of you said, Raptors can't go wrong with who they are drafting.

Wed Jun 28, 2006 9:59 pm

I think its between Bargnani and Morrison. If not then Aldridge but if I had to choose one it would be Morrison.

On another note who would you choose if you were Bryan Colangelo?

Thu Jun 29, 2006 2:50 am

ESPN said it was between Bargnani and Gay

who do u think portland will pick i hope foye or roy maybe sheldon williams

Thu Jun 29, 2006 4:16 am

well, as far as the Rasho trade is concerned, I forgot they just traded for a C which makes it a little less likely that Toronto drafts Bargnani, but then again, why did they hire his former GM?? so they know how to beat Bargnani when they play him in the season?

You've gotta be kidding me. Shelden Williams???? Go away.

Adam. Freaking. Morrison.

Or Rudy Gay if Morrison is gone.

Thu Jun 29, 2006 5:01 am

Well Chris Bosh is LaMarcus's Aldridge great friend and Bosh really wants Aldridge.

Thu Jun 29, 2006 5:09 am

We'll all see in a couple of hours. Rajon Rondo will be the biggest steal I bet.

Thu Jun 29, 2006 5:30 am

I want Rudy Gay on the Raptors... we need a good player that will probably get better in the future, plus this dude has amazing (or is capable of) highlights. But then again, I also want Aldridge. Bargnani would be ok, but we already have too many PF and I really doubt we need another 3-point shooter. We need an interior force that has a lot of energy and willing to battle for every board.

Thu Jun 29, 2006 5:31 am

where do you guys project ronnie brewer?

Word, I'm hoping Ghey or Morrison. If Gay went to Blazers, I'd wear a Gay jersey. Anywhere else, and then that's just gay.

Redick in orlando or houston and one of them will be champs

Jordan Farmer and Dee Brown are (Y) too
