I think spurs should not sign Evans.

Nazr Mohammed has already said he wants to play for his home town Chicago, so i think they should re-sign him and send him and Nesterovic to the Bulls in a deal that would involve Chandler. Which is a bit of a risk with his inconsistency.

Thoughts?

I hope they do not sign Marks....let him go off to Europe & actually play....Spurs (N)

The Spurs will isgn R. Javtokas from Lietuvos Rytas. That is alomost 100% sertain, because they will not be able to sign Scola. I think Javtokas is defenetely better than Mohammed and Nesterovic. He's a great defensive center.

Sean Marks, when they actually play him, is really suprisingly good, most players who rot on the bench suck in the few minutes they play but whenever i see him play he's sprinting all over the floor hitting tough fadaway midrange jumpers, hes very active, he'd do well on a team that played him. He should go to the suns, he'd be great there.

Javtokas may be a good fit in San Antonio. He puts up decent numbers and has a great body for a center. If they sign him they have to get rid of Rasho or Oberto. Mohammed is a good starting C and with Javtokas as backup the frontcourt would look very good.

They should also let Beno Udrih play more minutes, the guy can be a threat offensively but he's too inconsistent now. But I think he would perform better than Van Exel off the bench.

About Evans: He would fit into the team, but I do not think they will sign him. I was looking forward to see Scola on the team last season but due to his current team he can't play in the NBA and I doubt that he will be in the Spurs roster next season.

I hope they consider acquireing Jamaal Magloire.
