Kobe's house.

Sun Apr 09, 2006 5:51 pm

well, ok not exactly Kobe's HOUSE, but the outside of the gated community he lives in.
this gated community is down the street from my apartment, so technically, I live down the street from Kobe haha

My friend said that he went to church a couple weeks ago and saw Kobe there.

I took this picture on my phone on the way to work, so it's not my fault that it's not a great picture.

Peter Vilfan? He was most definitely an NBA talent. He had the athleticism, Pete Maravich-like skills and ego to go with.

I know someone who played against Andrew Bogut a few years ago. And i know someone who knows someone that got selected to play bball for Connecticut.

That's my claim to basketball fame anyway.

As I've mentioned in my "encounters with Yao" threads, Yao lives down the street from me and is one of my friend's next door neighbor.

A couple years back I was playing at the park by my house and I played a guy who grew up here. He just graduated from North Carolina and he was on their basketball team. I never really keep up with college basketball though so I didn't recognize him, but he was extremely good, beat everybody. :o I asked him why didn't he go to the NBA and he said he thought about it but then god told him to be a pastor.

Lucky, the closest I ever got was shooting-around on the same court as Speedy Claxton

True story, basketball camp at Hofstra University. He came in one day and just started shooting around, nobody recognized him. Fortunately I did so i just went over and shot on the same net as him. (Y)

And football in highschool.

Mon Apr 10, 2006 6:29 am

My cousin broke the scoring record in highschool in California. He beat Tony Clark's scoring record. My other cousin assisted his basket that beat the record. Then my younger cousin (the assister) now plays on a highschool team where a fututre NBA Star plays on. (well season is over) But the kid is Chase Budinger, he commited to Arizona, this season he beat my older cousins scoring record and my younger cousin assisted on that basket too. :D (Y)

Also, my cousin has played against Sun Ming Ming's team..or whoever that huge asian with the tumor is.

I asked him why didn't he go to the NBA and he said he thought about it but then god told him to be a pastor.

LMAO  God is bad for you.
