He decided that he has enough of money and retired before he crippled himself with playing ball. Basically, he lost passion for the game.

I thought he was asking for a higher amount of money, but since none of the teams offered him that much, he was just gone.

I've heared that hes playing golf and hes good at it.

I wonder how long his golf sticks are

Well, Keon Clark basically had no passion for the game of basketball. He just wanted a quick payday, which is a shame because he would have done some serious good if he stuck with the Raptors. After he left Toronto, he became injury prone and felt like it wasn't worth it anymore.

Overall, he's just a lazy prick who could've been a decent centre in this league.

I think my career would somewhat parrallel Keon's if I were to make the NBA. Minus the murdering family member.

DANVILLE, Ill. (AP) - Utah Jazz forward Keon Clark's father was sentenced to 65 years in prison for killing a friend after a fight over a bicycle.

John Clark, 49, will serve that sentence with no possibility of parole, Assistant State's Attorney Larry Mills said Wednesday. The elder Clark was convicted by a jury in December of first-degree murder in the death of 27-year-old Clarence Cunningham III. Clark's lawyer argued during the trial that his client acted in self-defence.

Keon Clark, a six-foot-11 forward, played 127 games for the Toronto Raptors during the 2000-01 and 2001-02 seasons before he was signed by the Sacramento Kings as a free agent in August of 2002.

after his Kings stint there was interest from Cleveland i think.

Anyways, he was a good energy guy and i remember him having some amazing games.....he destroyed Cliff Robinson once, very hard task (too bad though that on the last play of the game Cliff swatted his shot that would have won the game)

Yes, I remember both New York and Cleveland were finalizing the signing of Keon Clark and everything. Even the official websites had the front page saying that they've already signed Keon Clark. He just never showed....
