Allstar Game Starters Annouced

Fri Feb 03, 2006 11:50 am

East:
Shaq
Jermain O'neal
James
Wade
Iverson

West:
Yao
Duncan
Kobe
T-Mac
Nash

now who will replace jermain since hes out 8 weeks, chris bosh? :D

Fri Feb 03, 2006 11:53 am

Chris Bosh....maybe, also maybe Chri Webber he is doing quite good this season?

Fri Feb 03, 2006 11:55 am

pierce might get the nod over bosh if its just a forward their looking for, but if they need specifically a power forward, then it should be bosh. if bosh isnt atleast even on the team, its official howard stern hates the raptors and canada.

Fri Feb 03, 2006 12:03 pm

That'd be awesome to see Bosh starting at PF, but I get the feeling I'm missing some other PF. I wouldn't be surprised if it was Rasheed Wallace. The Pistons are having a superb season and none of their guys are starting...

Fri Feb 03, 2006 12:11 pm

well well duncan edges KG..

maybe Ben Wallace might start for JO?

Fri Feb 03, 2006 12:12 pm

I think Rasheed will start at forward along with James because he finished third in the voting among East forwards, meaning he'll likely be a strong candidate for that starting spot.

Fri Feb 03, 2006 12:17 pm

Unless Yao's on the verge of returning I'm guessing KG will be starting in the frontcourt with Duncan and McGrady.

Fri Feb 03, 2006 1:09 pm

Yao came back already Drew. Played his first game last night or two days ago , I forgot when.

what's howard stern doing in the nba... lol :D david stern

I hope Bosh gets the position or ATLEAST a position in the east roster.

Guess I missed that one when I was doing my daily check of the boxscores. Well then, KG will be coming off the bench for the first time since 1997. I can't imagine the coach's leaving him off the team, even if the Timberwolves are still around .500.

Fri Feb 03, 2006 1:43 pm

CB4

C'mon ... you guys know that he deserves this honour.

Fri Feb 03, 2006 3:00 pm

Yao's played two games since coming back from the injury... 15 pts 8 rebs and 1 blk in Monday against the Grizzlies and 21 pts 13 rebs 3 asts and 1 blk against the Bucks in 32 minutes for both games. He's playing fine but needs to get his conditioning back so he can play more minutes...

Fri Feb 03, 2006 3:00 pm

Bosh (Y) Also it looks like West have much more experience and shall dominate :!:

Fri Feb 03, 2006 3:10 pm

I disagree...i think the sides are mostly even unlike yesteryears. Kobe is gonna light it up as usual..but t-mac, duncan and the rest arent what they used to be. We have two of the top 3 leading scorers on the east team alone.

Fri Feb 03, 2006 3:47 pm

Chris Bosh deserved it over JO anyways, so i hope he gets a spot. It would suck if they gave it to Rasheed given that he doesn't want to play.

Saunders coaching East, so Pistons players will get their court time :P

My All-Stars

EAST: (going on individual brilliance, team records aside)

Ben Wallace
Chris Bosh
LeBron James
D Wade
Allen Iverson

WEST:
Camby
Garnett
Brand
Kobe
Nash

Fri Feb 03, 2006 4:04 pm

I forget if he started last year or not, but this is a rare year to see Carter not get voted in by the fans.

That's because we've seem the best of Vince now. AI is definitely a better player and we have a rising star in D Wade. So Vince is out of the picture now as far as reputation i guess.

I wonder who'll be the All-Star MVP this season... :?:

Fri Feb 03, 2006 5:51 pm

I think Bogut should start and Yao banished to do military service in China.

Fri Feb 03, 2006 5:54 pm

when is the rest of the roster gonna be announced? maybe the raps can get a few more wins before that and let bosh show them??

Fri Feb 03, 2006 7:04 pm

I think they will play Yao sparingly in this one.

Lineups look pretty even to me. Hopefully they can put on a good show because some of the more recent games havent been too entertaining for me.

Fri Feb 03, 2006 7:26 pm

OMG! TD beat KG in the voting?

Bosh showed enough mann. How much more does this kid have to show. I want to see KG start instead of Duncan but hey, it's been done with.

yes well, with guys like Ming, Duncan & Ilgauskas in the all-star game that's no wonder. I'd prefer a guy that is average or even shit but knows how to make the crowd go  over these lames
