Who do u guys think is more clutch? TMac or Kobe?
I say TMac (not just because of the 13 in 35sec) but I think TMac delievers late in the game alot.

I'm getting really sick of these homer threads you're making, so here's a homer answer.
Kobe by far, no question about it.

It's not that, it's the fact that we always get these kind of pointless threads, no offense.

Anyway, Kobe's hit way more buzzer beating shots than T-Mac has. The only thing that T-Mac has done thats memorable is his 13 points in 35 seconds (which seemed more little more like luck).
Then again, Im sure your also taking into account how well a player has played in crunch-time, so I wouldn't be too sure.

Please explain to me how this is even debateable? I don't like Kobe, but I think it's really obvious who is the most clutch player.
Thu Feb 02, 2006 10:17 am
I gotta say T-Mac, because he hits a higher percentage of game winners... but Kobe has hit more game winners than T-Mac.

This is the first negative thing I've said to you since the cyberface debacle. Calm the fuck down.
Thu Feb 02, 2006 10:21 am
I would say TMac too. Kobe may have his 81 points or his 50 points. But TMac comes throught at the end of games. Kobe HAS to be clutch considering he shoots 70% of his teams shots (not really)
Thu Feb 02, 2006 10:21 am
Kobe my a landslide. Only the morning highlights basketball fans would say otherwise.

Edit his poll Jae, c'mon

Kobe simply because I remember him making multiple clutch shots in the regular season and playoffs...T Mac doesn't even come close
Thu Feb 02, 2006 12:36 pm
Kobe.....forget the regular season, that doesn't count. The playoffs do...and Kobe delivers....ex: game winner long 3 ball with Hamilton all in his mug @Finals, Game 2. T-Mac....he chokes in the playoffs.
Thu Feb 02, 2006 1:48 pm
You know, it's tough. If their a last shot, I'd give Kobe the edge, but to tell the truth when you look at Kobe's whole crunch time [<5 mins in a close game], he takes a lot of shots, but doesn't really make as much as he does through the course of the game. I'd say Kobe is at times a little overatted as a clutch player because he many times forces it too much in crunch time and losses games.
I'd still take Kobe though.

[Wisdom_Kid]LeBron is the best. He's the best shooter so if you give him the ball he'll definateally make the shot, all the time. Well unless he misses but he never misses so you know he will make the shot even if there is 1.0 seconds left on the clock ok?[/Wisdom_Kid]
Thu Feb 02, 2006 4:39 pm
how about Nowitzki....he doesnt take many game winners but he fills up the 4th Q.
Thu Feb 02, 2006 7:42 pm
mike bibby anyone?
Thu Feb 02, 2006 8:00 pm
billups....
Thu Feb 02, 2006 8:51 pm
Robert Horry. Done and done.
I hate Kobe as much as any other Kobe hater, but if I needed a game-winner with ten seconds left, Kobe is the one I'd want with the ball. Nobody else in the NBA is better. His absolute confidence in himself gives him a huge edge.

Anyone voted on the poll?

I totally agree...moreover i'm a fan of T-Mac, but until he'll play (and win) some important playoff games, the comparison makes no sense....
