What would it take to top Vince's Olympic Dunk?

Wed Jan 11, 2006 8:28 am

Yeah, I feel like talking about Vince today.

Is it physically possible to get a better basketball highlight than Vince over Weis from the 2000 Olympics? What would you have to do?

Dunk on someone and shatter the backboard on their head?
Cross someone over and actually really break their ankle?
Try to jump over them but only get halfway, and end up dunking on them with your legs over his shoulders and your nuts literally resting on his chin?

What would it take?

do it over two seven footers.

Wed Jan 11, 2006 8:36 am

The type of dunk he did while he did it. Changing that up.

Wed Jan 11, 2006 9:17 am

do you by any chance mean "nothing is impossible"??

Wed Jan 11, 2006 9:27 am

Between-the-legs from the free throw line or a 360 from the free throw line. Those would be difficult to top.

Between-the-legs from the free throw line

James White did it but he did take off abit infront of the line.

yea i agree

and yea...James White nearly did it...

Wed Jan 11, 2006 10:26 am

maybe a 720 or a 360 between-the-legs?

Wed Jan 11, 2006 10:40 am

Windmill then honey dip.

Wed Jan 11, 2006 10:40 am

i think his dunk on Alonzo Mourning earlier in the season was better since 'ZO isn't some 7ft pussy

Wed Jan 11, 2006 10:44 am

if were talking realistically, i think maybe double in between the legs.

Wed Jan 11, 2006 11:38 am

The exact same dunk, but during an NBA game so they can relieve the burden of the whole Olympic legal issues of not allowing to show it.

this dunk is pretty close to the line.. he was just a bit inside

Off the backboard, catching the ball after doing a flip, then jumping from the freethrow and then putting it behind both of your legs, behind the back and finish off with a 360 windmill.

you can't put it behind your legs, then behind your back without it looking real gay.

I'd say just add a off the backboard lob before! :)

Wed Jan 11, 2006 1:01 pm

dunking over shaq and making him fall.. not sure if thats possible lol

Wed Jan 11, 2006 1:02 pm

I think doing the same dunk without fouling the guy defending him would top it.

Wed Jan 11, 2006 2:16 pm

Actually perform half-way decently in the Olympics when you're supposed to be the best team in the world.

Wed Jan 11, 2006 2:54 pm

Behind the back like JR Smith, but add a 360 to taht, so its like a 360 behind-the-back.
