Mon Jan 02, 2006 4:58 pm

Hahah Kobe.. thats funny.
Nash... hes good, but doubt he'll win again.
Zach Randolph?... im not even gonan touch that.
Carter.. No.
Kidd... No.
RJ... What do you think? No.

Mon Jan 02, 2006 5:02 pm

Don't you know that Zach Randolph is the G.O.A.T?

Mon Jan 02, 2006 5:03 pm

No list, just Billups.

Definately not Brand, an MVP's team doesn't have 12 game losing streaks. :shake:

Do you know what the Wizards record is right now?

Definately not Brand, an MVP's team doesn't have 12 game losing streaks.

The Clippers season high losing streak is 3 games, what are you talking about? That's the same as the Cavs. They have 17 wins and 12 losses, if they had a 12 game losing streak, then they either won 17 in a row which they obviously didn't, or had at least an 8 game winning streak this season.

Hahah Kobe.. thats funny.
Nash... hes good, but doubt he'll win again.
Zach Randolph?... im not even gonan touch that.
Carter.. No.
Kidd... No.

Being a candidate does not mean you WILL win, right now all we can talk about is candidates because the only 3 teams who's records we can be sure off as in being very high are the Pistons, Spurs, and Mavs.

You laught at Kobe, but Iverson's team is only .500 in the East while Kobe's is .500 in the West. Players on .500 teams don't win MVP just so you know, you need 50+ wins or if your conference is really weak, a Top 3 record to truly have a chance. Nash is in the race, but Phoenix has had an easy schedule so far, so who knows, he obviously won't get it again, but he's still a candidate.

Chauncey Billups
Tim Duncan
Lebron James
Dirk Nowitzki
Elton Brand
Steve Nash
Baron Davis
Pau Gasol
Kobe Bryant | Allen Iverson [only at .500]

My bad, I mis-read what NBA.com said. I still don't think he should get it though, but if the Clippers make the playoffs with homecourt advantage and he keeps up his contributions, they might have to consider him.
I know the 'homecourt advantage' sounds weird, they're the Clippers after all, but this team they have right now is stacked. Not only with talented players like in the past, but also with experienced and smart players.

As a matter of fact, they have 18 wins, 10 losses (Y)

And yeh my list is basically the same as everyone else.

1. Billups.
2. LeBron.
3. Brand.
4. Nash.

If Detroit finishes the season with the highest record, Billups will win it.
If Philly finishes the best in the East or a better that record than Cleveland, Iverson might win it.
If Cleveland lands 3rd spot or higher, Lebron will probably win it.
LAL, LAC and Phoenix (same situation with Cleveland), Kobe, Brand, or Nash will win it.

Iverson, Billups, Nash, Brand, Lebron.

God, I hate both of those Miami fuckers.

Tue Jan 03, 2006 2:59 am

Duncan
Billups
Brand

Tue Jan 03, 2006 3:05 am

This award needs to be given to Brand or Iverson, but the Clippers have drastically improved and Brand is playing even better than his normal 20 and 10 numbers.

Either those two or Chris Bosh.

Look at his team's record though. The MVP usually comes from one of the top teams, not the #7 seed.

Kobe won't because of his teams record. No doubt he has MVP-candidate worthy #s.

Nash should be a candidate because his team again's a suprise this year and they're #2 in the West.

Randolph as an All-Star won't even happen. Him as the MVP is a joke.

The 3 Nets. The Nets are rolling and if they finish as one of the top teams in the East, one of them should be considered for the MVP.

Davis is in the same company as AI. His team is a #7 seed.

Can't be Arenas. His team wouldn't even be in the Playoffs if it started today, and the Wizards are sub-.500.
