House Signs Two-Year Deal With Phoenix

Sat Sep 10, 2005 3:43 pm

House in the house: ESPN's Ric Bucher reported that guard Eddie House has agreed to a two-year, $1.8 million deal with the Suns. House averaged 5.8 points per game with the Kings last season.

Yes, that is all they got written down. Good Pick up i guess. They needed a backup centre more but good pick still

It'll do fine. He can score from the back-up point and 2-guard. There could be a better player. But I won't lose any sleep over this. Speaking of sleep... I need to eat some dinner, watch Letterman, and go to bed. I better hurry up.

He should be a good back up for Steve Nash (y)

Malfa,
There goes Gary Payton rumors.

I feel sorry for House. He's a good scorer and has done well on some teams, I mean he was averaging like 10/4 for Charlotte and they just cut him. I think he'll do well if he stays in Phoenix.

Sun Sep 11, 2005 7:25 am

Bah, I was hoping he would sign with the Heat. :(

Sun Sep 11, 2005 10:44 am

i really liked house when he first played for the heat some years ago... i was also hoping he could sign with miami. now only jacobson left for backup pg...

Sun Sep 11, 2005 11:32 am

Too bad Jacobsen is a chucker two-guard....

House was really good in charollete, afthe teh brawl in the home-and home the pistons had with charollete House scored like 23 points in the double over time game, too bad they cut him but he'll be good as a backup

Sun Sep 11, 2005 11:34 am

House is infinitely more valuable on a team like this than Jacobsen.

This is a desperate move by the Phoenix Suns to keep up with the Timberwolves breath-taking addition of Anthony Carter two days ago.

Sun Sep 11, 2005 11:53 pm

LOL , Well , He is a good addition to the Suns , even though I highly doubt he'll get playing time .

Mon Sep 12, 2005 6:20 pm

i really like house. even on live series. he can shoot the 3 and got stealing ability..

i wonder why char. cut him off.

good move for phx though

Phoenix still doesn't have a decent backup for Nash. I mean, House and Barbosa aren't true points, so they'll have serious problems in minutes when Nash is resting on the bench.

Mon Sep 12, 2005 8:19 pm

because doesnt have enough playing time to his former teams..I mean this guy is promising I just knew it..

Mon Sep 12, 2005 10:52 pm

Given that Nash should be playing at least around 35 minutes per game and is relatively healthy, the Suns really only need a couple of point guards whom are solid enough to fill in for a few minutes here and there. They don't need a super sub at the point.

Wed Sep 14, 2005 6:03 pm

i think house is going to play probably 10 to 15 minutes. suns like a running and shooting point guard and house is that type of guy.
