Disappeared players: try to remember

Fri Aug 19, 2005 1:32 am

I used to play NBA live 99 (my first NBA live) and I remember I created even the limit of players (don't know if are 300, more or less), and I think most of players I created didn't play 10 games at all. Lets join to make a list of all that players, it'd be funny:

-John Celestand
-Trevor Winter
-Nate Huffman
-Sam Jacobson
-Rod Gregorie
-Cory Carr
-JR Henderson
-Casey Shaw
-Paul Grant
-Rodrick Rhodes
-Jason Lawson
-Justin Rowe...

Too many to list.

-Nate Huffman

Yeah, he was a Raptor, I remember him. I found it pretty funny when I went to a Raptors game a few years back and someone had his jersey.

I know Cory Carr exellent!
He played in Texas Tech college between 94-2000.
You can find some info about these years in Texas college in this link; http://www.ibiblio.org/craig/draft/1998 ... s/carr.htm

Then he moved to Israel;

He's playin' in the Israeli league since 2001 season.
There is the link for his career in the Israeli league; http://www.safsal.co.il/PlayerStatPage238.aspx

Keep searchin' for them all and maybe we will get all the list

Rodrick Rhodes got drafted by the Rockets, didn't play much from what I remember
Huffman was at the Grizzlies for one season

Acie Earl came to Australia and dominated Shaq-stye. He then left because he couldn't be stuffed training or staying in shape.

Chris Anstey is coming back to Australia (from Russia) and is going to play for the Melbourne Tigers :!:

err indeed it's Tariq Abdul-Wahad who was called Oliver Saint-Jean before becoming a muslim. And even if he hasn't played for centuries now, he's still on Mavs' roster (that's a miracle he hasn't been waived or traded, indeed a trade may have relived his career)

That was indeed a sad time for the NBL.

What happened to Keon Clark, had a few teams after him last season and they recieved no call from him ?

Sat Aug 20, 2005 1:00 am

Last I heard, he was demanding too much money given his age.

Sat Aug 20, 2005 4:41 am

Alexboom is right. Oliver Saint-jean is Tariq Abdul-Wahad, and he's still on mavs' roster. You (tempo) better say Mamoud Abdur-Rauf, but I can't remember his previous name, perhaps Chris... can't remember.
I think that Mamoud even scored 50 p in a game, but don't know if he's retired. I think he was playing at Udine in Italy, perhaps...

Nice suggestions

Andrew, Shane Heal was in spurs' roster in 2001 (more or less), don't you know??

Sat Aug 20, 2005 4:43 am

Where's Isiah Rider?? Anybody knows?? He wasn't so old

Chris Jackson. He's retired.

Thanks Alexboom.

Other names:
-Courtney Alexander: he was the best rookie in January 02 (I think)
-Paul McPherson: SG with good skills but a bit overweighted
-Scott Burrell: he has a ring at least with Bulls
-Ousmane Cisse: drafted in 01, and thought to be the next Worm
-Bill Curley: White Worm
-Cedric Henderson: starter with cavs in 99
-Khalid El-Amin: Mr.Tonelete (very very overweighted)

Sat Aug 20, 2005 6:26 am

Ousmanne Cisse was playing summer leagues with someone this year, can't remember whom exactly but he didn't do too badly. Khalid El-Amin plays in Europe or somewhere foreign.
