Despite the fact that the Wizards lost by 20 (more or less), i think they have a competing formula stirring.
Call me crazy, but had Juan Dixon, Etan Thomas(Etan poured in a couple), showed up to the arena they might have had a fighting chance
What do yall think

Against another team, maybe... Shaq is too much for their frontcourt to have a chance.... They'll go down in 5. Tops.

I don't know Hughes Arenas and Jamison are all capable slashers
If they didn't settle for 3's and drive to whole more, shaq would be more prone to foul.
shaq's never shied away from a block

With the addition of Mourning there's another defensive stopper in the key for the Heat. And a very good one... did you see that block on Arenas in game 1... Totally annihilated the poor guy...
Plus, Shaq is unstoppable on offense... Haywood and Thomas cannot even begin to guard him... and Kwame is gone... Ruffin is too short... It's hopeless, no matter what their 1-2-3 combo does on the court. The only way the Wiz are going to have a chance is if the Diesel gets injured...

This year they're good enough to have some competitive games and perhaps take one on their home floor, but not good enough to truly challenge the Heat in a 7 game series. The Heat can easily match their offensive firepower and play better defense, while the Wizards aren't that strong at the defensive end.

hey Gen
Shaq was pretty stoppable Game 1, to the tune of 19 points... not saying that's going to happen every game but Haywood showed it can be done

question, are the Wizards putting Hughes on Wade defensively and letting Arenas relax on Damon Jones
FTR, I think Heat will win in 6....
