TNT Sucks

They just cut off Tracy McGrady and Yao Ming in the all-star annoucements. kinda mean considering I was showing my little sister some of the best basketball players..

They cut off one of Josh Smith's dunks yesterday too. They only showed the part where he was on the rim.

TNT tried to make up for it by showing the replay like 100000 times.

During the ASG, they showed some Saturday highlights...and when they showed the Dunk Contest it said "Josh Howard"

ugh......but TNT's panel n entertainment and excitement factor is light years better than ESPN.

I agree with Najira... I don't get to watch TNT-aired games here that much, but I got the Rookie challenge and I was amused by the entertainment factor...

Haven't seen the other stuff (yet), so later I'll try to post about it...

I prefer TNT over all other Networks. Shame but they missed Josh's Corksrew because they were shooting Dr. J!!

I cant believe Charles insulted his own stations technology.... .....but I gotta agree with him.....they even show that in cricket matches.....n I really dont see the point of it.

I like TNT overall..Kenny Smith +Charles Barkley is always fun to hear from. I loved how Barkley just kept bashing on Andersen in the dunk contest..but the cutting off stuff is stupid..

For sure. I'm not sure who "margic" is They're a great cast, and they don't try to cover up a bad play or a screw up. The camera work by TNT needs a lot of work though. Those cut ups are extremely annoying.

TNT is top notch in presentation. Charles is a no-bs type of guy as a player and as a commentator. I loved the all-star predictions, where they checked the poll, hilarious... "Hey Kennny... thirty twoo thousand people think INSERT NAME HERE ( I just DONT remember the name) is better than Shaq... THIRTY TWOOOO THOUSAND!"

Its good to hear commentators who SAY what we THINK anyway. Chris Andersen was ridicuolous at the dunk contest. Out of more than three hundred players were there REALLY no other player who wanted to contribute?

I DID wish Charles would have gone on the court and dunked a couple himself

As said before the camera work is bad but the commentating is hilarious. Even though Chris Anderson sucked in the dunk contest, it was great entertainment to hear the guys completely bag on him.

I love the commentary and that sort of thing. But like everyone said the camerawork needs improvement. Especially in the actual all-star game. Since teams inbound the ball so quickly in this game they can't be spending 3-5 seconds showing a shot of whoever made the last bucket heading back downcourt. I missed some things a few times.

even if there was a few camera mistakes and what not, overall i enjoyed the telecast. hey it's live TV, shit happens.

I dont care if Magic weights even more than that. Its not like appearance should count, experience and talk should.

He is still one of the best players ever to play the game.

i would take TNT over ESPN anyday. i might start to enjoy ESPN more when they finally drop that Steven A Smith. i hate that bastard with a passion. what makes it worse is from time to time i totally agree with what he is saying and i know its something that most people who never say and dont want him to say, so then i like him again. imo he is the new jim rome since i never watch his show anymore.
