As solid as the All-Star dunk contest is every year, rarely, if ever, have the league's best dunkers all been featured at once. You would probably have to go back to the Michael Jordan/Dominique Wilkins contests of the '80s to get anything close.
very interesting article by Fox Sports

JR Smith - #10
"There are rumors out there that J.R. will be one of the contestants in this year's contest. While he won't be the favorite, the rookie could definitely win it."
I thought he was the favorite... at least according to NLSC.
Steve Francis at #4? I dunno.. I've seen some really awesome dunks recently, but #4 is way too high. I think they're too obsessed with the 2000 slam dunk contest.

I can see Francis at the #4. Some of the dunks he has been pulling off this year have been
And what is he, 6'3"? Amazing.
Damn, I wish the Raptors had drafted Iggy.

Nice list...J-Rich #1

Honestly, this list is just fucked up!

Maurice Evans — Know this: Mo dunked so hard in a game earlier this season, the ball came through the hoop and hit him in the face with such force, it busted his lip wide open.
Damn
He plays for the Kings

I disagree with listing Amare and not K-Mart, they dunk exactly the same.

Except for the fact Amare could do it between his legs

Andre Iguodala — We're still trying to get a read on what kind of dunker Iguodala really is. He's such a freakish athlete. We've seen him get up to grab impossible lobs. We've seen him fly into the lane off the bounce and crush it and we've seen him go from standing still under the hoop off two feet to dunk on cats. Iggy will win a contest before it's all said and done.
Honestly, this list is just fucked up!
Why is that? Care to do your own list? Maybe that one is not fucked up

C'mon, Shaq 8th, Desmond Mason not even Top 10, Franchise better than J.R. Smith and Kobe... they probably wrote this after having lots of alcohol.

That is the worst list I have ever seen. My brother who never watches basketball can make a better list. Fox sports should be ashamed of themselves. Desmond deserves to be on the list. T-Mac deserves on the list. Lebron is ranked too high and Carter should be number one. I would have put Carter at #3 when he was in Toronto but not on NEw Jersey. He is pulling off some sick shit.
Give me a Break!!!

Excuse me? Carter should be number 1? Man, the guy dunks for a month and you want to place him on a pedestal.
Seriously, he's only good until he blows out his legs. Again.
I think that this list isn't bad... it's more like it's redundant. There's no way everyone's ever going to agree with a list, when you try and narrow so many good dunkers down to 10, someone's bound to be disappointed. There might be a more appropriate list, but I doubt there are "better" ones - just different ones more suited to someone's opinion.
BTW, it never says "fanciest" dunkers - just the BEST. makes since to me then that Shaq should be on the list. I also agree with Kevin's statement about Amare/Kmart, they DO dunk the same.
