Dupree's the worst player on that team
The Phoenix team will consist of forward Shawn Marion of the Suns, 2004 WNBA Rookie of the Year Diana Taurasi of the Mercury and former NBA All-Star and Suns legend Dan Majerle.

Denver will win it....
Wed Feb 16, 2005 4:01 am
LOS angeles will win
Wed Feb 16, 2005 4:53 am
Marion is in it
Wed Feb 16, 2005 5:50 am
Majerle's not that old, and I'm betting he can do more than what English or Johnson can. Add Marion and a rookie of the year, and I'm sure Phoenix would win this competition.
Wed Feb 16, 2005 7:25 am
Just what cyanide said! Phoenix will win for sure!
Wed Feb 16, 2005 7:32 am
Ronald Dupree?? C'mon!
Wed Feb 16, 2005 7:43 am
i gotta agree that phoenix is the best team on paper followed by LA then denver. i dont know whats up with detroit. the best one of these i saw was the year both magic and dominique was in it(last year or am i crazy?). i would love to see these one year with LA and boston is it just to see bird and magic 1 more time. of course bird's back is probably weaker than a tooth pick now but thats not the point. would also like to see dominique in it again. maybe even dr.j. i would say jordan but he is still too damn good for that game.

If Chicago competed, Jordan would kill 'em all!

Just wait till the WNBA has that new Chicago expansion team
Wed Feb 16, 2005 2:08 pm
If they included Chicago, they'll put somebody like Longley or Kerr, but not Jordan...unless the League needs money
Phoenix team looks great

Phoenix is going to own, rape and murder the rest.
Phoenix is to other countries as America is to other countries.
The best.
Just kidding, don't hate.

Dupree's probably a better choice than John Salley, especially when it comes to the three point attempts in the contest. Personally, I'd like to see them phase out this part of All-Star Weekend or go back to the 3 on 3 tournament.
Wed Feb 16, 2005 9:21 pm
Lmao, John Salley that was embarassing last year lol
A 3-3 tournament would be damn good! when did they hold those?
Wed Feb 16, 2005 9:24 pm
I believe it was only the 2002 All-Star Weekend. I can't quite remember the NBA/WNBA/Legend event at the 2003 Weekend.
Thu Feb 17, 2005 1:34 am
yeah the 3 on 3 is far better. infact i forgot that they had changed it. the 3 on 3 games they had were damn fun to watch.
Thu Feb 17, 2005 3:12 am
phoenix gonna win easily because they got the best athletes/players. im pretty sure dan can still light it up, then you have the athleticism in marion and taurisi is just cold. sorry, but phx wins this one
Thu Feb 17, 2005 4:21 am
Luke Walton and Donald Dupree??
Anyway, I think either Denver or Phoenix will win.

I remember that it was in 2003 in ATL. They had Magic on the lakers team and Nique on the Hawks team.

the very first time they did the 3 on 3 games they also included a celeb. i remember this cause justin timberlake crossed over kenny smith. that was damn fun to watch. it was 3 on 3 with a sub back them.
