The genius of Coach Byron Scott.

Wed Dec 29, 2004 9:20 pm

Just wanted to note that the 2-25 Hornets are handiwork of Byron Scott.

As Jowe said,(N).

And the best party is...the Hornets apparently signed a two-year guarantee with him and cannot fire him.

You dumbass, look at the injuries and tell me they arent a bigger factor than Byron Scott coaching them.

yup.....Magloire, B Diddy r keys....n well they've already given up and r looking to rebuild.....I think Magloire will be traded and B Diddy might go next season....if they can get a steal trade like they did with the Rockets who knows...they could be good (y)

still JR's gonna change that team......give him 2 years

people were raving about his jumpshot when he came out of high school, but good dog! i havent seen it yet! LeBron got criticized for his jumper out of high school but his is better than smiths right now. hopefullly hell turn it around he could develop a solid game with some range.

don't forget Jamal Mashburn, thats 3 all-stars. Something similar happen to the Spurs a while back, david robinson went out, and guess who they ended up drafting?

Thu Dec 30, 2004 7:54 am

Tim Duncan!!!!!

What do I win? A portable microwave? :)

Thu Dec 30, 2004 8:00 am

There's no Tim Duncan in the next draft.

hehe i remember that year. dominique wilkins played for them. he had his moments...

poor rick pitino- the lottery sure screwed boston over. it's quite possible that he'd still be coaching if the celts landed the top pick that year.

EG- i can feel the bitterness all the way here hehe. you're barking up the wrong tree though in expressing it. well at least over here with the fanclub

Turning this into something personal would be idiotic.

The Hornets are 2-26. The Bobcats are 7-18.

Jerry Sloan was able to make the Jazz one of the better teams in the league with basically no talent last year.

If Scott was as much of a winner as the Hornets made him out to be, the team wouldn't completely collapse like they have.

They'll still underachieve when they get their guys back.

B.Scott can't coach- 2-25 it's bad real bad

You're such a tool.. The hornets have such a bad record because of injuries. Charlotte are 7-18 on the back of emeka and brevin knight, who are better than anyone new orleans has with the exception of davis, Magloire and Mashbur, who have all been out for a while. Also, they are (or were) a respected team, meaning other teams dont let them sneak up on them, like they did with utah last season and charlotte this year.

Like i said before, but you failed to see it, how can you blame Byron Scott when you realise how bad they are hurting with injuries? It's obvious you, as a nets fan, are just taking a shot at him.... "Turning this into something personal would be idiotic. "...

B.Scott can't coach- 2-25 it's bad real bad

Yeah guiding an overachieving nets team to the finals twice ina row is proves just what a "bad" coach he is...
