Tue Dec 21, 2004 2:44 pm

more impressive than iverson 51 considering he shares with mcgrady!

No, you know what is more impressive?

Yao won, Iverson didn't.

Tue Dec 21, 2004 3:07 pm

hopefully this is the glimpse into the future... Yao dominating inside and T Mac dominating outside...

Tue Dec 21, 2004 3:28 pm

That would be great for the Rockets...

Tue Dec 21, 2004 3:43 pm

it would be great for the league too...the focus would be shifted from the kobe/shaq drama and the inside outside duo's would be compared to yao/t-mac.

i just want houston to run a bit more so t-mac can score more from fastbreaks...and in halfcourt play they should focus on going to yao.

Tue Dec 21, 2004 3:57 pm

this is even better news! kobe is now 6-34 against the grizzlies this year in the two games the lakers played the grizz

about time yao did something impressive. i was waiting when he was going to have a game like that.

Why is their a thread about this, you have to look at the circumstances , Yao 40 AGAINST THE RAPTORS

He was so tired all game though, but Shaq had his first season high against us till the game where Wade got injured agaisnt Washington. Then Dwight Howard had some highs agaisnt us, Brendan Haywood had 22 points, every decent center kills the Raptors, and the really good ones destroy us.

Yao did better this time also because Loren Woods who played him good last time has a broken finger and wasn't playing him nearly as agressive, and also didn't play as much, but the Raptors inside presence is one of the worst. I expect season highs to be set on the Raps every time they play a decent big man.

 The wonderful world of ignorance.
Trips to the finals:
Iverson 1
Garnett, ZERO.

It's fun to be closeminded somtimes

"I tried to push my opponent into the paint, because I'm stronger than him," said Yao, who was 13-of-16 from the field. "I have to do that. The closer I am to the basket, the more field goals I can make."

Wao, he just figures this out?
Nao if only he would do this every game.
