Rodman

how do you think rodman will do in the ABA? his sole purpose is to get noticed by an NBA team...he seems to be in great shape, but can he hold up on an 82-game schedule at age 42?

I think he'll be average, but age is not on his side. As much as I like him and appreciate the skills he has under his attention grabbing persona, I think he's worn out his welcome in the NBA. Only a team that can afford to take the risk (ie one with an established and talented frontcourt) would really consider bringing him into the fold.

i think that utah might actually be a good fit...if the 'experiment' worked, that is.....if not, it would just screw up chemistry.

my picks for teams i'd like to see rodman on (and play well for- if it won't work out, i don't even want to see him try, except maybe to get a new rodman nba jersey into stores lol)

1) Utah
2) Denver
3) Boston
4) New York

I think Miami would be a better fit. They're still looking for big me to compliment Shaq. At least if he went there it wouldn't matter if he only averaged 2 ppg.

excellent point. i just really don't want to contribute to miami's success, so it's hard for me to want to point rodman in that direction (i am NOT a shaq fan. i don't so much want him to succeed lol)

Yeah, even though he's old, he'll still be able to contribute.... I mean the man led the league in rebouning for several years in a row. He'll still be able to grab 10+rpg

oh yeah post 400!!!! wahoo!!!! it's kinda sad considering I'm a NLSC vet that's been around since like 1999 & 2000...

the crush's roster is starting to look better and better, in addition to rodman, they've now signed derrick dial and sean rooks...

He is 138 in bball years, plus he's crap. He cant compete like he did back in his day, all he is gonna do(regardless of his overall fitness) is hurt & embarrass himself.

well I think Rod can still play but he cant compete for 20 plus mins...he cant really do much anymore but hey he has more talent to play ball that prolly the whole NLSC combined.

I think a more glitzy team will take him.....Jerry Sloan isnt going to want a crazy dressed dyed hair baller on his squad, silly Donatello :P

hmm maybe the Lakers should get him....oh oh or how abt the Sonics :D, but again Coach Mcmillan is a barrier.

yea i think he will be able to play pretty good
i mean he doesnt concentrate on anything except rebounding and guarding his man so he can basically rest when the team is on offense

he would be a good fit in Miami to help rebound on the inside, maybe even the Clippers can use some help on inside, just team that needs more rebound...like Houston Rockets who really needs help

i don't think Sonics need him because Seattle's big man are already playing like Rodman, rebounding the ball if Allen or Lewis misses

I like Rodman, i like al lthe players that people hate, Terrell Owens, Ron Artest, and Dennis Rodman, If he goes to the Heat, they have a VERY good chance at going to the finals/late playoffs. And Rodman at 42, hes probally as good as ever if he can compete at this level at 42, then god bless em. It would be awesome to see his comeback, wonder what kind of hair he'll have *thinks*
