1. Now that Shaq is gone i'm inclined to believe that this will be the season that Kobe seperates himself from T-Mac......even more.

T-Mac is no leader at all, he failed to get his team into the 2nd rnd (which is inexcusable 3-1 up) and he only won 19 games last season. Now, let's look at Jerry Stackhouse who in 2001 led the team to 32 wins, a team that had Billy Owens, Ben Wallace, JYD, Chucky Atkins, Dana Barros, Michael Curry, Joe Smith AND Eric Montross.....and he averaged 29ppg

2. Ron Artest sucks, he talks too much shit he said
- I should be the leagues MVP because i'm the best player on the best team......this is crap because a) Jermain O'Neal is exponentially better b) I don't see a ring on his finger
he also said something along the lines of
- Detroit isn't the most talented team.......he just implied that Indiana was better, the same team that features token appearances by Reggie Miller starts Foster or Pollard at C and who's PG is Jamaal Tinsley....please. Indiana is 4th, at best, in the league.

3. Dwight Howard vs Emeka Okafor....i'm feeling good about Dwight Howard, something about his character that makes me think he's gonna succeed. I think he's gonna end up a multiple All-Star and better than Okafor, good choice Magic (we'll see). I have a feeling that McGrady will regret leaving Orlando and i bet Orlando will turn out pretty good soon.

4. How many 3's can Antoine Walker launch, damn i bet he's loving ATL, only Al Harrington to take the ball away from him.....it's gonne be a long season for Hawks fan

5. I'm feeling good about the Pistons chances to repeat.....assuming they make the Finals they will most likely face 1. Spurs or 2. T'Wolves and the good thing is that the teams best 1-0n-1 defenders happen to guard Duncan & Garnett and Ginobili & Sprewell. Both major pieces in the other teams offense. I'm wondering what Dice will do this season, hopefully his knee holds up and that Milicic kid looks improved but not ready to play yet

Ron Artest does think very highly of himself and sometimes goes way overboard, but I don't think he sucks at all. He did win Defensive Player of the Year and he made the All-Star game for the first time last year. If he could just shut his mouth and prove he is MVP material he can be a much better player. But he sill doesn't suck.

In there, you said nothing about why Artest sucks, but you did lay a claim that Artest "sucks." Are you pulling the "good (sucks in this case) is relative" or do you want to back it up? Regardless, Artest does say a lot of stuff that sometimes makes me scratch my head...

I do feel Howard will be better than Okafor and I hate to say it, but it's all potential. Yeah, it amounts to nothing, but I see something special in Howard. I think many will be shocked when Okafor scores more points but Howard grabs more rebounds, the opposite of what many predict. I've said it before and I'll say it now: I think ORL turns good this year. They make the playoffs. They're very deep and talented, not to mention quality personnel around Francis.

He has restrained him somewhat this preseason...I think the Hawks will improve this year. I love the Walker-Harrington idea, as one is a perimeter "big man" who is a superb creator, while the other thrives in the post. There is some quality young talent around them in Childress, Diaw (both are almost jack of all trades), and both Smiths.
