To the Atlanta Hawks for a 2005 second round draft pick.

Not breaking news really

Also, Gugliota should be headed to Boston. (posted already)

its a smart move they got a chance to pick a up a young player

More time for Ely!

I wonder why the Hawks do this, picking up another shooter. They need someone who can play in the post to compliment Walker.

I didn't say he's not a center, I said he's a shooter. He barely plays in the post.

The Bobcats are so obsessed in getting only young players that they probably forgot they are in NBA to win at least 1 or 2 games next season

Thus, their 3/4 named Al Harrington.

guess that pretty much put a end to the dampier to hawks idea.

He won't be able to play center though ;) I'm just not so fond of a soft center like Drobnjak I guess.

But their center doesn't have to be a post player. They already have a very good one in Harrington, who IMO will be a great complement (or vice versa) to Walker. Not to mention isoing Walker and giving him shooters like Crawford, Collier, and DRob, isn't such a bad idea either. That was my point.
