Well I bet it feels good to be a Twolve fan right now because if Cassell gets hurt again then they have a great backup PG to start for them

Troy Hudson was the man in the 2003 playoffs v. the Lakers, I enjoyed watching him play and I hope he stays healthy this season.

Good choice for Hudson and the Twolves.

Hope to see them back where they were at last year but further.

I'm always looking to stir the pot , so let me ask, why are they farther this year than last? They haven't gained or lost anyone. Is it another year for the big 3 + others to mesh? Yes it is, but it's also another year passed for the vets in Spree, Cassell, Hoiberg, and Johnson. Let me answer my own question...I don't feel they've moved anywhere (more chemistry, less oil), but I think the conference as a whole has moved back a little bit, thus moving them (relatively, but not individually) forward.

Also figure in Hudson didn't play at all really, Wally was out half the season and through out the 2nd round. kandi was out for about 20 games and Sam was hurt during the WCF.

This team is better. Last year start of season we had no Kandi, Wally or Hudson.

Good points. I know the team did experience a good number of multitude of injuries last season, but injuries are a part of the game. I would expect injuries for this upcoming season as well, although not necessarily to that extent. Do the injuries besides Hudson's really count though? I mean, the Wolves did finish 1st either way and I honestly hate watching Wally play hot potato in the playoffs. His competitors in that game are always the Lakers, but for some reason, they just don't think the potato is all that hot and take it.

The Hudson injury really hurt us because when Sam went down we were left to Darrick Martin as our own point guard on the roster. That really knocked us out big time.

Having Troy Hudson and Sam Cassell heathly will be big this year.

Good decision, though I expect the Timberwolves were always keen on keeping Hudson. It was probably more an issue of Hudson seeking more PT and the starting role elsewhere. In any event, the Timberwolves have kept together their nucleus from last season and should they remain injury free, should fare better or at least as well as they did last year.

All they need is to remain injury free. That should at least guarantee a 7 game series vs Spurs
