The Golden State Warriors fired head coach Eric Musselman
this move was probably helped by the fact the warriors still sucked this year and so many teams like the jazz and nuggets played better than them and on paper they should be as good as them.

Tough break for Musselman. The Warriors had a pretty good season last year and were in the playoff picture for a while, but they lost some of their key players in the offseason, then lost their replacements (namely Nick Van Exel) to injury for more than half of the 2004 season. Still, someone has to take the fall for a few losing seasons, and that person is generally the head coach.
